Handicappers Corner

Sure like the 8 to 1 morning line on the 1A in the 4th race. Anything over 4 to 1 and I'd suggest a wager across the board on her or at least key around her in your gimmicks.

Also recommend a pick 3 part wheel that starts in the 6th

3,5,6,7,8  with 5  with  1,2,7,8    20 bets

race 1    above average clarity

5  Devil's Mate   strong debut chasing a solid pace after a slightly tardy start.....Vadlez rides fresh off 3 wins on Saturday...good history with speed type horses

3  Flashy Traveler   barn has been waking up some......solid late running efforts in 5 of her last 6 races

1  Misstrailcityzone   low low percentage barn but ran a much improved effort 2 back on the AW and then tried the grass above her head...back where belongs today

race 2   below average clarity

3  Halfaponderosa  ran awfully well in only to races at today's distance versus better...started career for 25K so why not risk her for 16K

1  Stanford Dolly   sure liked her return to a sprint in her last where she pounded out a solid fig for this level

race 3    average clarity

4  Led Advantage   dangerous barn just claimed off of 3 solid route races which can set her finishing ability up nicely in today's 7F sprint....4 lbs off helps as well

6  Indiara   nice turf tightener in last should have her fit and ready for today's drop back into maiden claiming

1  Lady Of Hope   false weak fig in maiden debut last because she sat too far off a dogged pace set by the front runners....managed to close 2 horse lengths which was as good as you could expect given the false pace up front

race 4    slightly above average clarity

1A  L. A. Devine   ran a powerful race on the hill in her 1st grass race and then ran off form for an extended period.....long necessary layoff....training very sharply for a reliable barn when they show good morning work

7  Richelle's Joy   all three grass races (which were on the hill) are good efforts....experience factor is a major plus in SA hill course races

5  Lazered   love the sprint turf pedigree for this filly.....nice tune-up om the AW....should be fit and ready for what may turn out to be her preferred surface

race 5    average clarity

3  Gold Stock   exits a fast heat both in final time and pace...finished well in both races on the AW past 6F

7  Smokey Beau   last two sprints on the AW our par like efforts for today's level

2  Waafi   plenty of pace should help his late running effort......in tight and way too wide in last....Rosario will be out to make amends

1  Major General   in the spiral down mode as far as the claiming ranks are concerned....should fly late if still healthy enough

race 6    average clarity

3  Hitters Last Out  shipper from GG takes the significant drop out of MSW coming off a very bad trip in his debut...blinkers on and has been training most impressively at Slr

8  Delago   popped his best ever in his last with the addition of blinkers in his last race...cold barn could use a win

6  A Pint For Mary   both efforts under 6F with the blinkers on are decent efforts for this level

7  Rage On   weak connections but this gelding showed some life after breaking a little slow and rushing wide....trained like a runner before that debut race and continues to train like one since

race 7    average clarity

5  Bolinas   just missed in his last which was his 1st ever on the grass.....training better than ever since....highly likely he fires best ever today

2  Belongs To Gotham   very consistent sort and proven on the sod....tossed rider in the late stretch in last but has a sharp reassuring drill since

3  Arkham Asylum   has done little wrong in 3 lifetime sprints on the AW....bred well for the lawn and bred well enough to get 1 mile

4  Ringolevio   training terrific for the new and higher win % barn...like an improved horse....am concerned by has weak grass pedigree and his 1 dull grass race

race 8    average clarity

1  Wylie N Wyatt   believe this 1st time is ready....5F so keep your fingers crossed for a decent break at the bell

2  Mr. Braggadocio   fired best ever in last with 1st time blinkers....good speed early in last 3 races bodes well for today's abbreviated speed friendly sprint distance of 5 furlongs

8  Call For Justice   for starter is training as if ready to roll in maiden debut for a small and unproven barn

7  Pride Of Wilshire   1ster is bred to be a good sprinter....works aren't too bad for a barn that doesn't push them too hard in the morning

3  Fire In The Wind   last race run with 10 weeks off between races fits in this spot.....10 weeks off again and fairly decent works
