After a very poor holiday Sunday of picking winners (hopefully many of you didn't get a chance to play Sunday) we get an average looking card to get on track.

Sure like the late pick 3 starting in the 6th race

2,3,6,7 with 4,5 with 1,3,5,7,8     40 bets

 

race 1    slightly above average clarity

5  Noblety   yikes 4 out of 5 on the SA hill course.....a little concerned about the pull back in claiming price after a win but Kruljachas done this before with this horse

4  Greenwich Park    work pattern strongly suggests Sadler has this SAF invader ready to roll in his U S of A debut

3  When We Met   good move forward last time in the 2nd after the layoff scenario...2nd after the layoff today

race 2    average clarity

5  Nini Reins    training as fast as anyone

10  Call Hera Goddess   training fast....barn excels in this 2 F baby races

3  Leslie Rules   training fast....Sise gives to 2 furlong race game a try...don't recall him partaking in these the last couple of years

2  Lakota Cash   4 gate works which are pretty quick and using a jock who is no stranger to 2, 3, and 4 furlong dashes

The 11 horse is a factor if he draws in off of the also eligible list 

race 3    below average clarity

5  Lodi Red   great spot for a 1ster because those who have run sure aren't much.....barn has been sending almost everything fit and ready of late

3  Water Landing    poor start and ran wide in debut sprint....should move forward and be competitive in this lackluster seemingly bunch

1  Warren's Kong   best figs but the barn hasn't won in a very long time

6  Cee's Closing Time    last looks like the tune-up in a sprint to be ready for today's route endeavor

race 4    average clarity

1  Dona Mary   M Baze's only mount of the day and he sure is back to riding well now.....seems to have rounded into peak form

6  Malibu Artiste   3 out of 4 in the win column on the SA synthetic is hard to ignore

7  Recess   extremely consistent runner but seems to find a way to get beat...as good as anyone in here but usually way over-bet 

8  Spell Caster   small drop helps and has trained better of late

race 5    average clarity

5  Dontmesroundwitjim   high likelihood this Warren charge moves forward 2nd out after the layoff...positive rider switch too

8  Teafatiller   earned two significant figs with very poor trips in both lifetime races......Atkinson gets his 3rd attempt to settle this colt down and give him a trip he can win with

6  Absolutlypositivly   2 sharp works and back in 6 days have this animal fit for his return to 2 turn racing

9  Clocker Moment   way too far back in MSW debut and still closed down 6 lengths....positive rider switch to Espinoza

6  Fenice   takes a seemingly logical drop to get to the circle of joy and has the meets leading rider up to get the job done

7  One Shot   quite a few well known trainers don't have 5 wins for the entire Santa Anita meet....Trainer Barnes has 5 in 6 starts...wire to wire attemptwith this guy

3  Our Partner    bad claim by Mitchell...significant drop in claiming to cut loses

race 7   above  average clarity

5  Thorondor   good return to the race wars in last after 1 year away.....solid drills since from a guy like Vienna says we'll see much more today

4  Unusually Sound   good move forward in 2nd lifetime start to break his MSW.....continues train like a nice animal

1  Pinstripe Kid   nice 2nd place 1st on the turf run and it was from the 10 post at 1 mile...draws the 1 post today with the same under rated rider up

race 8    average clarity

1  Melbisha   all 4 efforts at SA (and they were all at today's distance ) fit solidly in this spot......finished a strong 2nd in last with a gap of 7 lengths to 3rd

5  Mary's Dancer   barn has had a terrific meeting....maiden debut  last was a race to build off of as the barn usually doesn't have their maiden claimers ready to roll in their 1st start

8  Skyangle   MSW debut last looks like a 1 1/8 turf fitness endeavor.....drop and go today...can come flying late

7  Royally Large    decent return to the race wars in last....needs to move forward today and may

3  Multiplyingtheheat   in good enough route  form to have a small shot at the win if this late closer can get enough pace up front in today's sprint run
