Hollywood for Sunday 2 May 2010

[private]

Handicappers Corner

Recommended pick 4 part wheel starts in the 6th race

1,3,7,9 with 3,5 with 5,6,7 with 3,5,6     72 bets

race 1   slightly above average clarity

5 Clubhouse Rules   very very impressive drills especially for a filly state-bred 2 year MSW

2  Deo's Secret   broke a little tardy and still ran just shy of 21 flat for 2 F....very fast early....2 4F works are good....horse should be able to get 4 1/2 F

4  Hi Ho Yodeler   1st Harrington baby that has looked ready...he may have put out his lessor stock 1st

7  Chk Chk Boom   finished up her debut work tab with 2 decent 4F gate works...probably ready

race 2   slightly above average clarity

2  Warren's King   last turf race run should handle these if he can repeat that effort

3  Came Aboard  seemingly ready fresh off of the bench....good sign Bejarano wants the mount back after the layoff...good grass trainer

4  Fire In The Wind   should be loose here....but....would like more but I believe Ruination is the only horse to wire so far on the grass thisHol meet

race 3    average clarity

6  Leslie Rules  pounded at the widows in debut and has worked fine for her 1st 1 turn run

3  Arta B Tappin  green in debut and today we get a positive rider switch...should see much more today

1  Hollywood Affair   nice work tab for this 1ster from a barn that wins it fair share of these early baby races

8  Trick Skate   Tup trainer knows how to get it done with a 1st timer...works are solid

race 4   average clarity

4  Pokomoke   superior figs in last couple....Mullins is not afraid to lose a horse

2  Dona Mary  exits a very fast heat...apprentice gets a shot...hold on kid

1  Ultra Awesome  drops to the bottom but dangeous because this horse gets most of her wins on the drop down

6  Recess   dull last but very consistent usually...rebound city

race 5    average clarity

6  Deputy Max   just missed in a tough field in last....this field is softer...training nicely up to this race

2  Apriority   2 good MSW sprints and now tries long.....barn has decent history 1st at a route

3  Full Strength  long layoff but a solid work tab hints at being ready for his return to the race wars

race 6    average clarity

3  Dance With Gable   not much more to say than 4 for 4 in the win column at 6 and 6 1/2 furlongs on the grass...all with Bejarano

7  Exclamation  flew into a pace-less race from the rear in last...good shot to get more pace today

9  Comoros   big route figs on Top Turf Today.....laid up a long time but solid works...shot if this isn't just a tune-up to go long later

1  Achak  enough speed in this affair to set things up for his late run

race  7    slightly above average clarity

3  Fifie's Fantasy  earned a strong fig in her maiden debut..her only sprint race

5  Euro Gal   both races at 6 F stand out...6F is what she wants and gets it today

1  Cremedelagold   very bad trip in last and still won going away

race 8    slightly above average clarity

6  City To City   2 powerhouse turf efforts in her only 2 firm turf route races...trains as if hasn't lost a thing

5  Cozi Rosie  Smith gets to make amends after this one's bad trip in last...Sadler is on fire in Stakes races

7  Andina   very competitive in all 5 lifetime starts...almost beat our top choice in last

3  Elusive Galaxy  good sprint history and not so hot in routes.....but sharp...deserves one more shot at going long successfully

race 9    slightly above average clarity

3  Back Nine Doc   earned a strong fig in 2nd lifetime start last Summer.....big drill with the blinkers on and 2nd out after the layoff suggests we see her best today

6  Ten's Salty Sally   earned a strong fig for this level in maiden debut last Summer....runs fresh once again off of the long hiatus from the track...strong drills say ready

5  Girlwithegoldhoof   good move forward in 2nd lifetime start and they work tab says another improvement is likely

2  Massive Reaction   showed lots of life in debut andthen tossed a clunker...needs a rebound....where the heck did the Amador riding magic go since he left Santa Anita

11  Sweet And Jazzy   some life in both lifetime runs....positive rider switch......needs to move forward a couple of lengths to compete for the win
