After a very nice week last week we have a Weds. card that offers all the races with average clarity or better. That should make for a good card. Hope we can keep the solid returns rolling in.

race 1    average clarity

1  Gab Power   very solid drills for a 1ster debuting at this level....GG outfit is having success so far at this Hol meeting

5  Lakota Cash   last race shows she fits at this level....this question mark is if she can handle only 6 days between races

2  Gutshot Straight   bet hard in maiden debut last.....didn't get the best of trips and surely can learn from her racing experience

 

race 2    slightly above average clarity

6  Lacey Leilah   strong last effort and it was at today's distance.....likes 4 or 5 weeks between races and gets it....nice work series says all set

4  Super Sophie   4 of her 5 races in the good old U S of A fit strongly at this level 

2  Bonita Birdie   last was a solid sprint tune-up to go long and go long with only 110 lbs. to carry (10 lbs off for apprentice and 2 lbs off for 10.5K claiming price)

 

race 3    average clarity

7  Subsidized  earned a strong fig in high priced maiden claiming debut and smartly steps into MSW racing

5  Misinjennuous   debut race 3 back is quite strong.......so here is the scenario....race 2 back is the tune-up then tries the grass and didn't like it...full go here back on the AW

6  Empress Way   broke about 5 slow and ran a little wide in her MSW debut last.....good works since......clean ride can make her a major factor

 

race 4  slightly above average clarity

4  Warren's Tommy Too   4 lifetime races and each time has moved forward....a ton if the trend continues today

5  Gotham Devil   blinkers off and training as if this gelding likes the equipment change....Bejarano accepting this mount seems very positive

1  Iotabgray   small barn has an impressive record with the blinkers off........good post and adequate speed to get a good ground saving 1st turn

8  Cantona    has faced some tough fields in non-claiming events.....1st time in claiming today....good history for the trainer with such a maneuver

 

race 5    slightly above average clarity

7  Seventh Star   impressive 1st run in the USA in both pace and final time...same run on the sod and he will be difficult to beat

4  Camp Victory   on the right end of the learning curve....1 for 1 on the hollywoood grass course albeit in a sprint

5  Keen Bidder   had very bad trips in both races run in the USA...very dangerous if finally gets a smooth trip

 

race 6    average clarity

8  Candy Lion   big somewhat suspect drop but why not....only 2 races a year for two straight years...a ton if healthy

4  Itssultryinthecape   solid grass figs on Top Turf Today......good shot in this spot if can he can  duplicate those efforts on the Hollywood synthetic

1  Faraday   dangerous high win % barn ships in from GG  

6  Intothewild   both races run on the AW fit at today's level....only win was when today's jock was aboard

 

race 7    slightly above average clarity

4  Never   consistent sort just made a forward break thru with the blinkers off......can repeat the trip to the circle of joy with the same effort today

2  Believe In Hope   needed last and should be ready for better today....good close in last into a pedestrian pace set by the front runners

5  Gothis Samurai   solid in all 4 lifetime two turn races on the turf....1st ever on the AW...most grass horses transfer to the Hol AW just fine in their 1st run on it

 

race 8    slightly above average clarity

4  Sweet Hanni   after running well in multiple races versus very nice fields this filly fell off some in her latest....one to beat if she rebounds just a little

6  Fairway Road   probably needed last off of the layoff....1st on the lawn and bred for it...trainer is good 1st on the sod

1  Foxy Jade   training great off of the layoff and runs on the sod for the 1st time....excellent grass pedigree..can make it 2 for 2 lifetime maybe

3  Roman Charity   just a little short fig wise but back quick......barn is pretty good running horses on very short rest

9  Dinnr With Nikki C   some chance with lifetime best....1 for 1 at a route (on the AW)...1 for 1 in a sprint (on the grass)...conclusion says route turf racing fits
