3  Regina Beatriz   solid fig run her her debut last for this level...repeat effort can be good enough to take this

2  Prissy Miss   good speed shown in 2 furlong race at Sa...blinkers on and a solid 4F drill....cold jockey gets a bone...best start winning or see ya

6  Miss Nikki C   trained big bet hard and bombed.....very positive rider switch,,,gets a 2nd chance

5  Ms Margaritaville   nothing like winning your 1st race going long by just short of a dozen lengths.....I'd say this filly has found a new home and it is called route racing

1  If You Knew Susie   fell off some in last and ironically broke her maiden.....we need her race 2 back to compete in this spot

 

race 3    average clarity

4  My Boy Walsh    on the right end of the learning curve.......1st route race on the AW....bred to have a preference for route racing

2  Thermal Wave   2 sprints under his belt and nowattempts a route of ground.....bred fine to handle the added distance and 1st at a route is a strong maneuver for the trainer

6  Gobbler's Knob   it has been awhile (2008) but this gelding sure appreciated the Hollywood surface...consistent sort

2  Sir Ben   last race wasn't bad but the race 2 back was quite strong....good shot to bounce back to it

5  One Shot   ratable horse cut out fractions that were too swift to handle....can be loose here with a more reasonable...shot to wire

4  Ravel   big drop and back to the AW...decent chance to sit in a nice distant chase position

2  Turning Top   good chance to get a nice chase position once again

8  Prytania   got very good in the Midwest this time of year in 2009.....same form seems to be returning this Spring as well

4  Zilla   good speed and Mike Smith aboard.....a deadly combination

5  Lilly Fa Pootz   very consistent sort doesn't have the hot riding Bejarano but Talamo came also get the job done

 

race 6    slightly below average clarity

5  Lavender Touch    price shot is training like a better animal after a long 9 month hiatus from the track....that's why I believe O'Neal (1st run since claim) has stepped her up a few notches .......only race at 6F was very strong both in pace and final time

2  Onefunsonofagun   last 2 wins were turf to main track.....same scenario today

4  Silent Stalk   will need to avoid a speed duel with the 5 horse......will be very tough once again if she does

6  Elusive Memories   nice runner from NZ has been laid off a long time but is training as if she is ready to roll in her USA debut....Sadler has been good with these imports

2  Surfer Girl   consistent sort retains the red hot Bejarano.....good chance to fire once again and compete for the top prize 

3  Full Mandate   good sprinter in Ireland....finally sprints in the USA after 3 straight flattening 1 mile turf races

5  Fleet Streak   toss out her last....rank about 8 lengths on the turn in last.......Drysdale has had ample time to make adjustments and we get a positive rider switch th T C Baze

1  Fantando   faced better overseas....Mitchell has been solid 1st out with this imports

4  The Skinny Man   O'neal continues to drop plenty of his stock with good success.....MSW to Mdn25K here does make me a touch suspicious about this one's health considering he cost a 1/4 of a million

6  Aliza's Dream   both lifetime races are par like for this level......drops and retains Talamo.......trainer could use a win

8  Country Impact   gave route racing a whirl in last and bombed....back to a sprint where he is competitive at this level

2  Caracas   bad trips in both lifetime races.....in very light today with the 10 lb off apprentice up....might be flying late
