Hollywood for Friday night 11 June 2020

[private]

Handicappers Corner

recommended pick 3 part wheel starts in race 5

2,7,8 with 1,3,7,8,10 with 3,6,9     45 wagers

race 1    average clarity

7  Big Wags   hidden move forward with a bad trip...smartly steps up a notch again

3  Southern Victory   legged up nicely in a route race on the sod.....drops out of MSW....fit and ready for best.....barn is stout dropping for the 1st time out of MSw

5  Bring It  good shot to sit in a nice chase position...only needs a small move forward

race 2    above average clarity

1  Look To The Sky  can once again be in a good ground saving position near the lead....6 year old has found a new and better career on the AW

4  Lucky Got Lucky   competitive with every start sine Canani satched him 7 races ago......seems to like the Hollywood surface both in the morning and the afternoon

8  Acute Velocity   wide journey in last and still closed well to only get beat a length.....wll need best ever today to beat the top two if they run like I expect

2  Twodollarstowin   needs to stay the last 1/16.....has been making a move and flattening late

race 3    slightly above average clarity

1  Silver Heat  on the right end of the learning curve......recent drills are sharp.....barn has had their best meet in a very long time

7  I Can Hear   nice run at 30 to 1 off of the layoff.....sharp works since...seems poised for her best

5  Road To Reason   done little wrong in her 2 lifetime races......needs to feed off of those efforts and improve some more in this spot

race 4    below average clarity

8  Wells Fargo   difficult race to size up but at least our top choice should be a price.....this gelding woke up out of nowhere 2 races back and then tailed off some but still broke his maiden....sharp drill since suggests best ever may occur today

3  Wolgan Valley   down down down the class ladder we go where we end up nobody knows....solid 5F drill last week makes me think he still has a race left in him

1  Halo's Law    capable of better then what most of these have run if he is ready fresh off of the bench...would have rated higher if the drills were more impressive

10  Bandeira   declining form but all 3 lifetime races run over a 3 year period fit well in this spot....sure could stand to earn a few bucks

race 5    slightly above average clarity

2  Asperity    badly needed last and should show more today....decent chance to save ground fairly close up

8  Kris Silver    barn seems to have waited patiently waiting for a spot because the gelding has worked with regularity for 2 1/2 months.....will get a reasonable lead  pace if the 5 horse doesn't press the issue

7  Crossing The Line   will need more pace than I anticipate for his best but what a runner....4 fo 4 at today's distance and 10 for 15 overall in the win column

4  Sir Dave   good history 2nd out after a layoff and must feel good because they step him up a notch and retain Mr Bejarano

race 6   slightly above average clarity

8  Ned Page   solid move forward in 2nd lifetime race.....like the fact Barbabarn steps up in class today....bred to held a route of ground...good likelihood sharpest ever

10  Outrageous Fortune   returned a different animal off of the layoff in his last......works since are impressive...also bred fine to handle the distance

7  Cantona   very solid last....would have rated on top if it wasn't for the fact his best has been with short rest

3  Leyva Man   consistent sort has to overcome his tendency to hang when it counts most

race 7    average clarity

3  Boulder Creek    only race at today's 1 1/8 distance was run on the AW and he earned a lifetime top with a wide trip...seems equally as good on the sod.....needed last and should move forward

9  Hockley   most proven on the grass of anyone in this group.....only race at today's distance was solid

6  Very Fair   only race on firm turf run at GG is quite good......colt has been on a roll since the blinkers were added

7  My Boy Walsh   slow developing sort was able to win with a hand ride because of a soft pace in his last...doubt race took anything out of him and good works since suggest that.....will need best ever but we might get

race 8    average clarity

10  The Skinny Man   4 of his 5 lifetime races fit solidly here...just claimed by Sadler and training fine since the claim

5  Fleeting Summer   solid maiden claiming debut and hasn't missed a beat in the morning since...repeat effort makes him a top contender and he should be real tough if he improves off of his debut run

6  Single Shot   pressed a good pace in his only lifetime race up north at GG.....ships with a good series of works...Jeff Bonde horses have mostly run well at this Spring Hollywood meet

2  Action In Motion   decent work series for someone like Lisa Lewis who hardly ever pushes her first timers too hard...might be ready to roll

13  Lewdawg N Paradise   checked early and then showed he can run some in his maiden debut run......move forward seems logical considering he went off at 80 to 1
