3 more days of Hollywood and on we go to the ever popular Del Mar meeting

Sure like the 7th race double. Shooting to beat the morning line favorite (Bisono is 2 for 55 for the meet) and our 5th selection who is the 2nd lowest morning line in the 8th race.

7th race double part wheel  1,3,5 with 1,2,3,5,7,8   18 bets

 

race 1    average clarity

1  Miss Nikki C.   2 of her 4 lifetime races are better than anyone has run in this group...lets hope we get one of those efforts

7  Chk Chk Boom   decent debut and then fell off some in last....good chance can range out nicely from the outside with the early speed she has shown

5  Hope To Win   useful debut and 28 to 1 hints at not being all that wound up....most likely fitter for 2nd run can make her a contender

 

race 2    slightly below average clarity

5  Stanfoed Dolly   consistent sort was washy before her last race and still managed 2nd....total lack of pace in the race and she seems the most likely horse to be on or close to the front

3  Mission Viejo Halo   solid return to the race wars in last and must feel good because she is back with short rest something she rarely does

4  Elusive Memories   showed little in her U S of A debut but has a decent 6 week work series and did have speed overseas and it is a good spot for speed

 

race 3     slightly above average clarity

4  Ribat   a red hot barn (Puype) the last few weeks sends out this colt that showed decent pace and final time in his debut 

3  Ride Candy Ride   bad trip in debut hides some and the works since are improved...solid chance he shows more today

7  Blingboy   very fast in 2F races says he can be loose in this spot...leading rider Rosario can be loose...a dangerous thing

1  E Z Led   decent work series for this 1st timer....conditioned by a trainer who is more than capable of getting a 1ster ready to roll in his or her debut

 

race 4    slightly below average clarity

1  Fire In The Wind    good 2010 for this gelding on the AW with a 1st, 2nd and a 3rd in 3 races....repeat of his last makes him the one to beat

5  Island Run   just claimed by a trainer who is really getting it done with their claims and getting it done with Rosario

4  Sognatore   small but capable barn....useful return to the races in last breaking a little slow and finishing well late...should show more with that race under his belt

 

race 5  average clarity

3  Folk Dancer   all 4 lifetime sprints fit well in this spot.....works strongly suggest Cerin has her ready to roll...owns good early speed 

6  Amina   2 par like wins ( 2 for 2 for M Mitchell) and Martin Garcia stays aboard...significant considering he is not riding either of the 2 Baffert horses in here 

7  Seriously   bombs away if this filly fires her effort 2 races back

 

race 6    average clarity

6  Valley Cat   way too wide in last and close to the pacesetters.....great chance to be on the lead or close up in good position...Eurton barn has quietly had a good Hollywood meeting

9  Crestatorre   barn won with a 1ster last week......works hint at this fellow also being a runner

7  Blue Jay Attack   useful debut and Jones is much tougher with 2nd time starters....Bejarano sticks with the horse

2  Lone Justice   tossed a clunker in last...need his race 2 back and he has some shot

 

race 7    slightly above average clarity

1  Initial Impression   hidden ability on the grass....1st two lifetime races were run on the grass and she had very bad trips and still finished well....Bejarano can get her into a nice ground saving stalking position from a the 1 post

3  Silver Heat   chased solid pace in last and still held on for 2nd...blinkers on says shes on the front end today...shot to wire

5  Magic Launch   best races have come with short rest...short rest today

 

race 8    slightly below average clarity

1  Really Elegant   impressive maiden claiming debut...wide sitting close to a decent pace......Rosales barn is having a great meet and also a solid 2010 

7  Sh Sh Shakin   finally gets to run a 6F sprint where her lone effort at that distance is easily her best

3  Dubai Macau Girl   long layoff but almost all of Puype's last 10 starters have fired including 5 winners...yikes

8  Beach Bottom Bay   good looking tightly spaced work series suggests a healthy and fit 1st timer

9  Warren's Moon   tough call if this filly is ready off of the bench or not but fits well if she is
