Nice to hear from quite a few of you that hit the pick 6 yesterday. I would love to know exactly how many if that was possible. I respect your privacy. After all I don't exactly post what I did for a given day.

2  Megastar  1st or 2nd in 5 lifetime starts on the grass......improving with every start....sharp 6 furlong bullet drill

5  Pleasure To Ride   just won this condition in his last race with a solid effort....continues to train as if he has held his form

 

race 2    average clarity

1  Iceburg Star   two straight poor trips to start his career.......never really let our in last when blocked....back quick..came upset them with a good trip

3  Asno Del Carmelo   earned a solid grass fig in his MSW debut last...should be nicely legged up and ready to compete for the win

8  Benergy   like a broken record this Summer....Baffert....strong drills and Martin Garcia up...man Baff has the babies this year

4  Baby Tate   OK debut....good works since....should see more from this Mullins charge today

 

race 3    below average clarity

1  Dextera   barn is hot so my guess is this filly is ready off of the layoff.....superior animal to these if she is right

6  Rule The Storm   Mitchell is so good with these high priced claims....especially at a route of ground

2  Operetta Italiano  kind of hidden in that she exits 2 straight paceless races

 

race 4    average clarity

4  U. C. Mercered Two   exits an extremely fast heat with a win and a claim....Mullins at the controls now....step up a few notches shouldn't be a problem

9  Afleet Deal   invading barn from the far northwest drops off a 25K win and they have a very good history of getting the job dine when they ship

8  Leesider   training in Prescott Azlikea big rebound may occur

1  Tudor Blue   closer fits well at the 16K level if the set a decent pace to close into

 

race 5    average clarity

7  Artie Viva   strong pace and final time in her winning effort last.....needs to avoid a speed duel and she can repeat

2  Hasty   closer may get pace to run at...race 2 back fits fine...barn is hot

3  Westward Pride   on the improve with every start and Bejaranosticks around...and like our top pick she also needs to avoid a speed duel

 

race 6    average clarity

5  Downhill Diva  price shot is on the improve with leaps and bounds....1 for 1 at Dmr....1 for 1 at the distance and out training anyone in this field....barn sends them ready (4 for 10 wins for the year)

6  Excellent News   proven at Dmr......record with the blinkers off on the AW is 3 wins and 2 seconds from 5 starts

8  La Nez   almost all of her most impressive efforts are at Dmr....seems to have been well worked and pointed for today's race

4  Lazered   scratched for today's race....seems very fit off of some solid turf efforts....usually a good thing when trying to get an extended sprint distance

 

race 7    average clarity

1  Hollywood Affair   easily best race to date was her MSW debut......gets a month and one half break....might see that debut run once again today

11  Faisca   solid move forward in 2nd lifetime start and trains as if another improvement can occur

3  My Joycie   very much out of the norm for a Stein 1ster to train so impressively...bred to appreciate sprinting...price city

8  Cayanna   last two races fit fine for this level.....closer will need a clever ride from the 8 post

 

race 8    average clarity

1  Enriched   last race turf to Aw with short rest was a stellar effort....that's the scenario today...good chance to get a perfect mid pack ground saving position

7  Battle Of Hastings   very very unlucky animal this year catching pace-less races.....seemingly gets ample pace today and trains as if his 1st race on the AW will be handled

9  Mythical Power   eye popping 7 furlong drill hints at a big rebound for this fellow today...not to mention Garcia takes him over the other Baffert horse

3  Deal Broker   when Bejarano rides this horse for Mitchell.....3 wins and 1 2nd....they feel he belongs here and that is good enough for me 

 

race 9    above average clarity

8  Lake Meza   positive rider switch and takes a significant drop...should be flying late

1 Gold Stock   speed of the speed but also capable of running just off the pace f need be...that's a bonus

12  Intothewild   1 for 1 at Dmra plus.......needs a rebound and the 2 /2 months off may do the trick

7  Cole's Favorite   late developing horse might be up to the task of another class hike...seems to have learned something about the racing game

 

race 10    average clarity

1  Nosegay   decent maiden debut in last and adds blinkers today.....Barba has a good history with 1st time blinkers

2  Long Legged Lovely   tossed a bit of a clunker in last...need solid effort 2 races back

7  Beach Bottom Bay  decent maiden debut and the barn is much more formidable with 2nd timers

9  Real Obvious   bad trip in last hides somewhat.....not bad 2 back.... out of a very fast heat for the level that day

8  Seductionist  Seductionist will be trying to catch Long Legged Lovey and Beach Bottom Bay to score
