Handicappers Corner

My father-in-law (couldn't ask for a better one and I say that with all my heart) passed away last night less than 3 weeks since we put his wife to rest so once again thank you for your patience. Sunday is their 68th wedding anniversary and I guess they can celebrate it after all.

You know the drill. Names and numbers only for today (except for the top pick) and possibly tomorrow.....That's it for parents on both sides of the family so I hope not to be making similar posts for quite some time.

As I've often stated in the past trainers win in bunches and O'Neill has quite a few I've selected in my top 3 selections today. Might want to key around those picks. After all he has been on fire for the meet

race 1    average clarity

7  Warren's Swamp Fox   repeat of last very tough here...on fire trainer/rider combo

4  Seedless

5  Ida Of March

2  Jordon's Sister

race 2    average clarity

4  Roar Of Applause   dangerous barn with layoff drop downs.....ample pace sets things up for his closing style

5  Star Nicholas

3  Kanan Dan

race 3   average clarity

1  Fairway Road   good record when runs for a tag......can get a nice mid pack position in a race where the pacesetters have a good chance to knock heads and tire

4  Yankee Romance

5  Folk Dancer

8  Come Home Quick

race 4    average clarity

5  Don Perico   decent debut fig wise put of more significance is the strong pace this state-bred showed...positive rider switch too

1  Cestatorre

4  Big Bad Boo

9  Papa Lev

race 5    average clarity

9  Titus Aurelius   placed to win for O'neill who seemingly is in full go mode

1  Halo's Law

8  Joyful Success

3  Self Defense

race 6    average clarity

6  A Lil Dumaani   race lacks speed and this ratable gelding can have great position in reasonable pace on or near the lead

2  Afleet Ruler

4  Gallant gent

5  All Man

race 7    average clarity

3  Ninth Infantry   solid win from a tougher post in last......reassuring work since....trainer is good at holding their form for awhile

8  Malibu Pier

9  Hemera

10  Sandy Cheeks

race 8    above average clarity

10  Lagoon Of Diamonds   expensive buy is training exceptionally well from the Baffert barn whohas been winning with 1st timers at an incredible rate this Summer

8  Jakesam

5  Just Imagine

7  Riveting Reason

race 9    below average clarity

1  Leroy's Dynameaux   big late kick for this well bred turf horse.....140 2/5 in mid June for a 3 year old colt is very impressive especially when you have to make a wide move

2  Sidney's Candy

5  Kid Edward

7  Golden Itiz

race 10    above average clarity

7  Teddy's Promise   earned a strong fig in her MSW debut last......solid 2 works since for a very reliable trainer when he shows good works
