THANK YOU FOR ALL THE KIND EMAILS AND PHONE CALLS.
Â
race 1Â Â Â above average clarity
4 Plantsite  only career blemishes were on the turf and a "gd" track......earned a strong fig with a wide trip in latest
5 Litecorr  both lifetime victories came with a race given and then drop and go....that is today's same scenario
3 Swiss Arrogant  fits fine for his level but must prove himself today at the extended sprint distance he is faced with
Â
race 2Â Â Â average clarity
5Â Position AÂ Â solid move forward winning the first time off the claim....small drop not a big deal because the horse loves Dmr and it is a very short meet with limited chances to run
4 New Bay  last 3 races fit...all since Mitchell claimed....logical drop to scoreÂ
3 Paul's Hope  last win came the last time this gelding ran for a tag....up for 4oK today
Â
race 3Â Â Â average clarity
7 Otto Von Voom  just claimed and we get a positive trainer nd rider change...filly is 4 of 6 in the win column on the turf...2 decent reassuring works since her last
4 Jairzihno  runs all day so the 1 1/8 distance helps and it may hurt many in here
3 Juniper Pass  also should benefit from and extra 1/16 furlong
Â
race 4Â Â Â above average clarity
5 Tell A Kelly  24 to 1 in MSW debut strongly suggests Sadler charge wasn't fully wound up for her maiden debut....despite that she earned a decent fit with a poor trip....may show much more today
4 Indian Grace  solid MSW debut and continues to train like a good one......Bejarano sticks around tofind out
7 May Day Rose  training like a good thing for the king of the 1st timers in 2010, Mr Bob Baffert
8 Tiz A Route  dangerous looking work tab from a small but capable barn
Â
race 5Â Â Â average clarity
6 Galleta Mountain  powerful run (fig) on the sod in last and handles the AW just as well
7 Marcy's Woods both lifetime races are par like efforts for today's level....recent sharp drill suggests he has kept his edge or may be more of a horse
8 Hugs To All  capable of strong pace.....should be loose or pressing the pace from the get go
5 Chief Little Man  shipper probably needed his last and should be much more ready to compete in today's affair
Â
Race 6Â Â Â below average clarity
8 The Unusual One  I was not happy when Nakatani (as our top pick) dueled in slow pace in this colt's last when he appeared as if he could be loose with the tremendous early foot he showed at 2.....might not be the same animal as he was at 2 but if he is let him run early
2Â Royal F JÂ Â Â hangs hangs hangs and if he does once more I would actually run him over his head in his next start say in a non winner to see if he runs 2nd versus better....might as well earn more money...years ago I saw a Chi town hanging MSW eventually run 2nd and 3rd's in small stakes races because he was loaded with talent but didn't understand what it means to go by the last horse
7 Rauschenberg  proven at a route on the AW and now gives the lawn a try with OK turf breeding
9 Stella Del Treato  last was seemingly a sprint tune-up to be fit and ready to handle a route in his 2nd lifetime race
Â
race 7Â Â Â average clarity
7 Leothelion  hot new rider/trainer team and a solid animal if he is up to being ready off of the layoff...work series suggests he is
1 Stacy's Hope  on the improve with every start...sure appeared to appreciate the Dmr surface
4 The Whammer  exits a key race where 3 horses that weren't even on the board came back to win including one at a price yesterday
6 Spaniard  the one to beat if he moves forward 2nd out after the layoff but history says he may not
Â
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
1 Wasted Tears  been years since he lost a grass race and this sure seems like a good spot for his lone speed style
2 Lilly Fa Pootz  never better...wide trip in last and still but in a good stretch run....positive rider switch too
4 Gotta Have Her  smooth runner but her best distance is not 1 1/8.....might get a distance ground saving mid pace position
7 Gozzip Girl  difficult horse to ride and settle down......new barn takes over and they sure have a gaudy record 1st out under their tutelage....lookout if he does settle down
Â
race 9Â Â Â average clarity
12 Nine Rails  laid up filly has some eye popping drills for today's  level of racing...looks like fresh lone speed and P Val is the right jock for the job/upset
10 Snovember  layoff drop down should be very solid if she is anywhere close to what she used to beÂ
11 Meadow Lake Queen  all 4 lifetime races without blinkers fit well for this level
6 Rio'sfavoriteone  apprentice is fairly hot and tjis laid up longshot is traing like she is ready to roll in her return to the race wars
14 Gitmo  tough post if draws into the field but figs fit well versus the compitition......5TH CHOICE IS NUMBER 1 IF 14 DOESN'T DRAW IN
