Oak Tree at Hollywood for Weds 6 Oct 2010

[private]

With rain in the forecast watch for any bias that may develop. I will stand behind may selections in the 2 carded turf races if they are switched over to the synthetic.

If the track is playing fair I will be looking to play the 5th race pick 4 part wheel

2,4,5,6,8,9,10 with 1,4,5 with 1,2 with 5,6    84 bets   (50 cent wagers available)

race 1    average clarity

3  Woodman's Luck   barn is off to a good start for the OTH meet and so is the rider......doubt anyone in this group is bred better to go a route of ground then this colt...needs some pace up front and I believe he will get it

2  Slammer Time   should be legged up nicely off of a mile turf effort.....aggressive work tab since that 3rd place turf run

5  Shane Daniel   two straight solid efforts sprinting....should be on or near the lead from the get go

race 2    average clarity

4  Quinton's Flash   on the right end of the learning curve....3 good drills over at Fpx seemingly has this gelding sharp

1  D'oro Dancer   learned to rate in last and won....continues to work like a happy animal....very reliable barn when they train up to snuff

race 3    average clarity

3  Rev Her Up   hidden move forward in last with a bad trip....seems to appreciate the Hollywood synthetic....ran a solid key race 2nd last time she saw the surface

6  Brought It   impressive eye to eye duel and still won in a fast heat at Fpx......will that race take its toll ?....tough call

4  Havens Lake   very consistent sort and may get a nice stalking trip behind the outside 2 horses.... both of them  likely will go after the lead

race 4    average clarity

2  Sean S   all 3 lifetime races fit well in this spot...barn has been hot the last few months

3  Miss Buxley   drops claiming price in 1/2 and gets a very positive rider switch........sure seems like a gimme go...decent shot to graduate in 2nd lifetime start

6  She'sawontontomato   figure/effort wise most of the races run by this youngster fit as well as anyone...I am leary of her flattening going 6 1/2...not showing a lot of pop late in 5 1/2 F affairs

race 5    average clarity

10  Tiz Argent   very impressive 1st ever on the turf.....shuffled way back and still managed to get up with a strong late kick......hasn't missed a beat in the morning since

2  Accerlerant   won Msw debut in a route grass race....always a very difficult task for the horse. trainer and rider....love the work series since....believe moves forward today

9  Miguel's Mascot   dueled in solid pace and still almost pulled off the victory......3 reassuring drills since....Smith will be gunning for the lead

5  My Boy Walsh   on the improve and Bejaranosticks around...owns 1 win and 2 2nd's in 4 starts on the horse

race 6    average clarity

5  Big Tiz   chased Indian Gracey (who ran a solid 3rd in Grade 1 Sunday) and got beat by lees than 2....see ya today...wire to wire

4  Star Presence   earned a big fig in the same race as our top choice and will roar on by if no. 5 doesn't ration out her early speed

1  Ricketyracketyruss   earned a solid fig in a bad trip mc debut in her latest......average breeding to get a route race but Sadler trained

race 7    slightly above avg clarity

1  Sister Dawn   toss out last at Sar.....1st ever on real dirt...... handles the turf well and gets a good post at 6F on the lawn...can be in control from the get go

2  La Nez    only turf race was very solid and it was run at a route....sure seems to like sprints better...should fly late

5  Miss Silver Brook   ran 3rd to 2 excellent grass sprinters in only race at 6F at Hollywood....blistering 5F drill 6 days ago may have her very sharp

race 8    average clarity

6  Format V   barn always has this gelding ready when up for a tag ( 6 2 2 2 )....P Val has won 4 of his last 8 for the trainer

5  Pinal   exits a fast strong heat at Fpx with a win...prominent from the get go

7  Gilligan   new barn improved his both final fig and his early pace in 1st run under their guidance...combination of those two is usually a good sign of an improved horse

8  Color Of Courage   long hiatus of a few days past a year from the racing game......big factor if he returns totally ready

1  Maybe Yes   bombed with blinkers on in last so off today......will need best ever but not impossible
