Rather wide open day today but the 9th sure has some potential to light up the board. For folks that love to play the rolling bets the 7 horse in the 7th and the 8th are decent singles. Good luck!

5 Charm The Crowd  whole career on the sod but most grass runners handle the Hol AW......drops and the fact O'neill goes to his top gun jock suggests this one is meant and ready
2 Sheskey  very consistent sort especially at today's distance.....positive rider switch especially for a horse that likes to hang...no one I know of is better at getting hangers to go on by then Rosario
4 Katy's Kitty  seemingly runs best from off the pace and I believe the barn understands that now
3 Phi Beta Heat  might wake up back on the Hol synthetic.....1 for 1 in only 2 turn race albeit a turf race
race 2Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
2 Imperialistic Diva  powerful move forward in last and now we get a very positive jock change
3 Last Sting  just keeps getting better and better and better and better and..............
5 Glowing Spirit  another with a move in the right direction and a positive change of riders
6 Always In Style  3rd consecutive forward move in latest......yikes...all 4 selections have a shot at lifetime best today.....quite unusual

4 Centralinteligence  2 for 2 sprinting on the main track.......sure appreciated ample time between starts in last....gets it again
2 Smash  2 wins and 2 2nd's in 4 lifetime starts (3 races at Hol) all of which were sprints....off since July but Baffert has this promising colt training as if he is well meant and ready for his return to the race wars
3 Indian Winter  laid up runner has hit the track every 6 days for 2 months......wound up tight and ready to roll........2 for 2 at 6 1/2 furlongs or less
race 4Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
10 Small But Mighty  quite the record since Mitchell claimed......6 furlongs is a good fit.....capable of rating and that looks like a good thing here
2 Judge Joan  another capable of sitting off what looks like a very hot pace......Espinoza has been very hot of late
4 Perfect Finish  consistent late runner is somewhat unproven on the AW but loves the distance and has the right running style for the race
6 Nothing To Fear  red hot trainer rider combo and deep closer gets a good spot......race is loaded with cheap speed types which can set things up nicely for this runner
race 5Â Â Â average clarity
7 Battle Force    beautiful stretch runs in both lifetime starts which were on the grass....solid recent drill and hot trainer.....sure gets plenty of potential pace......should fly late
1 Handsome Mike  impressive win down the hill......caught wide pressing a solid pace and still won.....good drills since....and bred fairly well to get the two turns
6 Major Mike  2 for 2 lifetime including a small Stakes win at Cnl...off since July but training up to snuff for new trainer.....bred fine to get the distance especially under the guidance of N. Drysdale
8 Stoney Fleece  improving sort since the Sadler claim......1 for 1 on the lawn and it was at today's 1 mile distance....stellar rider/trainer combo
race 6   slightly below average clarity
11 Mollie's Wild Cat  good forward move in 2nd lifetime race.........vastly improved work series since and a positive rider change....even better seems likely today
16 Ansede  very solid figs versus this soft group but the trainer and the rider keep failing in S Cal (successful elsewhere)........good spot to right the sinking ship here
13 Warren's Morgan  improving one small step at a time both in final time and pace ......trainer is having a better meet then his record would indicate
5 Maryjean  very weak work regiment for this 1ster but the trainer is red hot and so is the rider.......Belvoir wins with about 1/3 of his maiden claiming 1st timers
race 7Â Â Â average clarity
7 Transgression  earned a strong adjusted for trouble fig in last wide with pace........super work series since....well bred for the sod......sure looks very formidable here
9 Madre Luna  good 1st time on the sod in latest.......very much improved works since.......highly likely to produce much more today
5 Alokee  lone race was on the grass and was almost 1 year ago......training as if ready and draws an outstanding grass rider in Castellano
8 Eula B.  both lifetime races on the main track are better then par like efforts.....1st on the lawn with an average at best pedigree for it
Possible Longshot:  4 Missie Ky I You  maybe not worth the morning line of 12 to 1 but I think he will go off at odds of at least 18 to 1

7 Meritricious  big fig in last......in fact whole career fits quite well here
6 Preferred Mandate  on the improve and now returns to Hollywood which seems to be his favorite track
3 Totally True  on the right end of the learning curve with few reasons not to believe the trend can't continue
14 Wild And True  needs to rebound but the works hint that he might
race 9   slightly below average clarity (but some big prices)
7 Surrey Star  good horse at 2 and finally woke up at 3 with an eye popping race in last....caught wide near the pace.......super works since and bred to love the distance
5 Casino Heat  loves firm turf....sat off a crawl of a pace in last in N.Y......proven at the distance.....outstanding trainer in Brown
6 Venomous  super stretch run 1st run in the U S of A.......bred to run all day.....Rosario wants mount back
3 Slumber  very nice horse in GB and it appears that the 1 1/4 mile distance is a good fit.....sharp move to get Gomez to ride
race 10Â Â Â average clarity
1 Fed Biz  brilliant pedigree......expensive buy......1ster is training sharply......Baffert is stellar and the some with MSW 1sters
11 Bling Cha Bling  lone race run at Hol with the blinkers on is outstanding.....that is the scenario for today
4 Macho Rocket   see the 1 horse above
9 Congrats Ski  Walsh 1st timer didn't cost much but is training like a runner....trainer is more then capable with a 1ster
