6 Farley Star  wide trip hides a move forward in last albeit on the AW....back to preferred surface
3 Hameildaeme  new trainer picks up a consistent sort who he only has to get the same effort out of to be in the hunt here

3 Jack O Lyn  Mullins finally had a winner yesterday beating our top pick by a nose (ouch)......seems to have claimed an improving horse here......and gets Bejarano to ride
2 Danger Ranger  easily best two efforts ever are his 2 lifetime races on the Hol synthetic
6 Inquisitive Son  seems best suited to 1 turn races like today........1 for 1 at Hollywood......0 for 7 elsewhere
5 Big Hands Al  owns the best early speed in this spot so dangerous.......jock could use a winner

4Â Merlin ZÂ Â best set of works for a laid up runner from the Kitchingman barn is quite some time and they are at Hol
6 Delta Fix  owns solid early speed....all cranked up in the am and ready to roll with a strong work tab at Hollywood
2 Lord Vronsky  most of career fits well in this spot and M Mitchell has been as solid as ever

6 Sentry Duty  fell off some in last.....but has enough time off and returns to AW......that can be the catalyst for a rebound today
5 Warren's Patron  not the best trainer off of layoffs but the works sure are decent and he drops this colt from MSW racing to the bottom
12 Nutmeg Ned  up the track in June at Hollyood and then ran well (and better than appears in print)......up the track in last in late Sept....good works.......hmmmmm.....big form reversal might occur once again
3 Del Mar Johnny   major awakening in last with the blinkers off.........needs to repeat the effort which is not exactly the trainers strong point....still very dangerous
Possible Price Shot:   7 Zombyslayermrdarcy  owns pretty good speed in this spot....recent drills hint at a possible forward move

3 Miss Radiance  exits a fast MSW heat and earned a solid adjusted for trouble fig....excellent work tab since.....same or more likely today
1 Kindle  broke slow and then chased and pressed a solid pace.....would have been top pick if it wasn't for drawing the 1 hole again where he broke a little tardy from
4 Perfect Feat  2 for 2 lifetime but it was last year......new conditioner for 2011 seems to have ready fresh....love the 113:2 drill followed up in 5 days by 112:4 ....sign of a fit and healthy mare
6 Blue Tambourine   sharp in last 3 races on 3 different surfaces one of which was the Hollywood synthetic....that good race was run turf to dirt.....today's scenario

1 Lodi Red  multiple races that are better than appear on paper.....and a very positive rider switch.......reassuring recent solid work-out as well
2 Unusual Jazz  2 solid sprint grass races in 2 attempts......1st at a route but bred fine to handle it....we also once again get a positive rider switch
5 Moscato  very consistently solid grass efforts.....bad wide unimaginative ride by Stiener in last....he's up again......wish we had a jockey upgrade with this runner.....hope Steiner proves me wrong and gets out of the gate and saves some ground this time
6 Starspangled Heat  filly is on the correct end of the learning curve.....jock change is an obvious plus

4Â Position AÂ Â not the best of claims by Mitchell....but he does the intellegent thing in resting and re-working this fragile animal to drop and fire a good enough race to cut his losses
2 Hasty Trend  low % apprentice rider but he is quite good riding stalkers like this gelding....and it seemingly is a good spot to be close up early
3 Looking For Candy  trainer Bainum seems to have the trump card for this 4 year old.....owns good speed in this spot and Alicea does a nice job on speed types
5 Bench The Judge  down down down the claiming ladder where he will wake up nobody knows....maybe not even O'Neill

6 Tres Borrachos   great job by Jones with this gelding since he took over the training duties....believe this 6 year old does his best running on the Hollywood main track surface
3 Tweebster  when Mr Bob Baffert makes an equipment change to blinkers off on an already consistent Stakes horse you best take note of it.....big potential today for big run
1 Kettle Corn  sure can make powerful 2nd turn moves in route races and gets weight off.....1 for 1 at Hollywood and it was at today's distance and post
4 Rescue Squad  invader is 1 for 14 on the grass and 2 for 2 on the synthetic.......what took you so long McGaughey

1 My Sweet Candy  solid MSW debut (which was also on the grass at 6F) and a reassuring work since...went off at 11 to 1.....that hints she wasn't fully cranked up in that MSW debut run......more is possible this afternoon and that would make her awfully tough here
5 Love My Way  sharp races on the main track and continues to train like a happy youngster....average grass pedigree
4 June Clever  can't tell you much about the trainer but this 1st timer is training very sharply at a training center that I am very familar with......obviously training well at Hol as well.....bred fine for the sod
3 Vaadka  outstanding trainer with grass horses........kind of rare he starts their career on the grass but you would think that would be a good sign...we shall see
2 Rica's Ready   not ready in debut.....might have been a tune-up....mom has tossed 3 grass winners
6 She's A Minx   average MSW races including one on the sod.....needs more to graduate....maybe a re-freshening can get this filly over the maiden hump.....no pun intended
