Average card at best today. Above average card on Friday. Ten races on Saturday's card including the Grade 1 Hollywood Starlet.
race 1Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
1 My Diane   laid up 10 months but drops into maiden claiming for the 1st time and sure is training as if Sadler has her 100% ready to rock and roll
6 Flawless Jewel  logical overdo drop out of MSW racing for this filly to earn her keep and start paying some bills
4 Tiabelle  exits a slow heat and will need to move forward today in 2nd lifetime start
7 Swirls  except for one large gap of 5 weeks the work tab for this Gallagher 1st time starter is quite good
race 2Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
4 Gilligan   great time to drop is off of a layoff.......and this Mitchell charge has fired fresh off of the bench in the past
5 My Boy Luke  Rosario knows this runner well..........horse owns 2 wins, 1 2nd, and 1 3rd in 4 two turn route races on the main track
6 Regal Fever  seems best in 2 turn affairs.....doesn't flatten out like he does in extended 1 turn races......can be prominent from the get go similar to his near win 2 races back
2 Tucky  up the track in latest after showing some life in his previous start which was his 1st run in sunny Cal......can be a factor if manages to rebound

6 Hakuchi   poor record on the main track......good record on the turf.....barn seems to get it now
1 Cayanna  1st or 2nd in all five grass races since the blinkers became part of her equipment
2 There Is No Limit  2 consecutive solid efforts at 25K earns her a step up out of claiming.....can fight for the win with a good trip
4 Pricess Suances  not too much figure wise but might get loose and with a better speed rider aboard for today

6 Sir Ed   plenty of positives here........jock owns 3 wins and 1 2nd in 4 mounts on the gelding........horse is 2 for 2 at the distance.....horse is 2 for 3 at Hollywood.....yikes
1 Ashen  chased a very stout pace in last and still almost won the race losing by only a neck.....1/2 furlong less today sure appears to be a good fit
4 Gibson Home Run   speed of the speed and only 5 1/2 furlongs to cope with
2 Lime Rock Revenge  Pedroza smartly sat off a hot pace in last.....same thing might occur in this affair
race 5Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
4 Spring Bloom  26 to 1 in MSW debut and the fact Shirreffs had bigger things on his mind it being B C day suggest this one's debut was a tune-up and we might see a full throttle go today
3 Amazingly  sure appears all cranked up and ready to compete with a strong work tab especially 2 of her last 3 drills
7 Sassy And Single  another 1st timer working awfully well for a 2 year old Cal bred filly....most of Gallagher's stock has been firing this meet....dangerous
6 Salah's Dancer  decent MSW debut last....decent turf pedigree....... sharp recent 4F bullet drill......seems ready to move forward
Possible Price Shot:  2 Pastoria  red hot trainer/rider combo in support of a 1ster that is training up to snuff for her MSW debut

6 Arresting Officer  lone win came at Hollywood in a 6F debuting MSW affair....not much going right since......so.......sharp recent drills and a drop into claiming for a trainer who could use a win and is quite good 1st time in claiming
4 Gothic Peak   up against much tougher in last so back to cond. clm 25K......another trainer that could use a win
3 Cragmount  good forward move in 2nd out after the layoff.......horse seems to like the Hol surface the best and this might be the last chance to run on it for quite awhile
8 Imperial Pride  good ability when sprinting on the anything other then turf or slop........back to Gomez who owns the only win for this colt
Possible Price Shot: 7 Boychik  work tab for this gelding is only so so for a trainer like Armstrong but works aren't everythig.......lookout if this laid up individual fires either of his last 2 races run over a year ago

2 Whisper Louise  ultra consistent grass runner should be able to get a nice ground saving 1st turn in a good mid pack position which will set her up nicely when the real running starts on turn 2
3 Celestial Kitten   might be a best filly in this group but still only owns 1 win in 11 grass races or would have been top pick-a-roo
1 Long Lake Krista  this Eric Reed invader might be somewhat more efficient on the AW but sure looks loose in this grass affair.....dangerous
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
8 Backwoods Belle  positive jock switch and back to the AW where this filly ran awfully big albeit at Dmr.....drop is slightly alarming but I doubt Gomez would be aboard this Sadler charge if she was too fragile
10 Musical Arts   very alarming drop 1st out after the Ellis claim......Sadler seems to give little away (let's hope that is not the case with our top pick).......but same horse with a decent trip will win this......toss a coin
3 Nicos Memory  has done nothing wrong in 3 lifetime races on the AW.....Bejarano knows and fits this runner well
4 Purple Starduster  dangerous speed horse....trained and ridden by individuals who win their fair share with speed types
5 I Sense Your Luck  last wasn't bad considering the time off........sharp bullet work since......shot to move forward as he needs to to compete here
2 Under Protest   not much in last 2.....need the effort/energy put forth in her maiden debut race.......back to the jock who rode her in her 5+ length maiden debut win at Fpx
