Hollywood for Sunday 11 December 2011

Studied my rear end off (6 hours) because this card isn't easy and I really wanted to keep the good handicapping rolling along. So that is why I am not providing comments for every horse. Good luck, we might need it.
race 1Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
5 Russian River  logical drop off the long hiatus from the track.....whole career on the turf fits well here......Mitchell is never afraid to run a horse where it can win
2 Maya Angelina  decent run on the AW in last......gets the grass this time and her lone run on it was quite good
6Â Vikkilee
race 2Â Â Â average clarity
5 Orbach  back to a level this gelding belongs at and 1st time Bejarano for O'neill suggests this youngster is well meant for the circle of joy today
6 Mentidoso  2 decent races off of the layoff....might get a little more pop and a forward move back in shorter rest
1Â Bryan Daniel
race 3Â Â Â average clarity
6 Let's Go Cheyenne  improving sort should be on or near the front end from the get go....trainer is awakening I believe
4Â Roxanne OÂ Â fired best ever in layoff last...1st time ever racing off of relatively short rest.........expensive purchase maybe finally getting the hang of things......we shall see this afternoon
1Â Heidi Maria
race 4Â Â Â average clarity
1 Jairzihno  no wins since Mitchell claimed 6 races ago so you know what that means......DROP CITY
4 They Call Him El  claimed by Puype in early Oct.......rested a little and then he put in a nice work series that is progressively sharper....seems ready fresh
3Â Pode Ir
6Â Achak
race 5Â Â Â average clarity
3 Onebadboy  price shot is on the right end of the learning curve......he is bred well to handle the sod and the 1 mile distance........also his trainer is fairly decent 1st time on the sod and at a distance
2 Victory Cup  debut was solid.......last race was a very poor effort/fig but he was very washed out at the gate....so pay attention at how he appears today....very beatable if he is washy again....and not so beatable if he looks good
8Â Unstopper Topper
1Â Cee Cee Seattle
race 6Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
10 My Bashert   just keeps getting better and better and better and better.....bred to handle a route and owns plenty of early speed to clear and get over from the outside post
6Â Hannah GÂ Â another who is getting better with each start and it is somewhat hidden....very well bred to run long
3Â Sage D'oro
1Â Lovestealer
race 7Â Â Â average clarity
2 Canonize  needed last but more importantly there is a good chance the 3 and the 4 force the issue up front and this one will be in a nice stalk position behind tiring horses
3 Indian Firewater  a fresh horse this time of year is usually a good thing....will be on or near the lead and try to hang around
1Â Skipshot
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
7 Excellent News   hasn't missed a beat in the morning since mid Sept....Baffert wants this 4 year old totally fit and ready for today because he is 3 of 5 on the Hol AW and 1 for 10 elsewhere...meet is over next Sunday
3 Tiz Flirtatious  good debut than even better in 2nd lifetime start....that fig fits and now we get 7 lbs off.......pedigree and running style suggest 7F is a good fit
5Â Going For A Spin
6Â Lady Railrider
race 9Â Â average clarity
14 Goldentouch Of Gin   earned a solid mc debut fig with not the best of trips......jockey upgrade for today and a very reassuring drill since his debut
6 Argue My Case  Cerin is showing signs of awakening.....laid up a long time but training very sharply as if ready and well meant.......both lifetime sprints on the Hol AW fit well
4Â Lovely Sophia
10 Our Bonita
8Â Prized Fashion
7Â Highly Composed
Longshot Possibilities:Â 9Â Truly A Mist
