Today's card isn't much. I have already handicapped 90% of Friday's lineup and it is a good race card. On Saturday there is only 1 claimer on a ten race card. I love that. Best of luck this afternoon!
race 1Â Â Â average clarity
2 Teardrops On Fire   improving with every start.....repeat of last can win this......1st at a route of ground but bred well to handle the new challenge
4 Scream Queen   another improving sort but this one just got snatched at the claiming box.......new trainer Gilker is solid 1st out after a claim....like our top pick she also has the pedigree to get the 1 mile distance
6 Dustin's Magic  like a good thing this filly broke her maiden at first asking.......training well since.......also has the breeding  to run long
race 2Â Â Â above average clarity
5 Let's Go Cheyenne  just keeps getting better and better and better.....cut back of 1/16 furlong looks like a plus
1 Jaredella  handled the SA hill quite nicely in 1st ever run on the sod.......good post and good pedigree to put in a solid effort 1st ever running around two turns
8 Soo Steamy  broke slow and ran wide and sat too far off a soft pace in her MSW debut down the hill......handled the grass just fine.......1st long but bred to handle the distance
2 Kissable  both lifetime grass races which were sprints are better than appear in print.......trainer has really been putting some endurance into her.....sure seems fresh and ready and well meant off of the 2 month layoff

1  Silverport  bet hard in debut which was run last July....off since but training up to snuff and cuts claiming price in 1/2
11 Ricspretentiousgal  1st timer is training as if he is well meant and ready for his debut.......mom has been a solid producer of winnersÂ
7 Vegas Rules  not much of a 1st starter conditioner in support of this 1st timer but the solid work tab hints that trainer Rosales might break the mold today
2 Chilling Command  exits a slow heat in layoff last......but surely can move forward 2nd out after the layoff

5 Unusual Heatwave  only individual who has seen the SA hill turf course.....and he won in his lone race on it.....seems like a distinct advantage....has improved steadily with each start on the sod
2 Bling Cha Bling  one for one on the sod winning a turf sprint at Hollywood.....believe Walsh has patiently waited for an alw sprint race on the grass....and usually when a good trainer shows patience it results in a good outcome
1 Tenacious Thomas  solid MSW breaking win in last on the AW....solid series of works on the grass since.......seems well meant and ready to compete for the win in her 1st ever grass endeavorÂ
7 Tiz Point   seemingly needs a cut back in distance and gets it.......will need best ever to win here
race 5Â Â Â average clarity
6 Tiger Trysts  way wide with pace makes for a very well disguised effort.....same horse and a smoother trip should do the trick
2 All My Chips  shocking improvement in last 1st ever ever under the auspicious of Mulhall........2 solid works since.......another move forward can occur
4 Uncle Greg  long overdo drop should help this gelding compete....not much more to it than that
3 Game A. P.  last looks like the obvious gimme in a non-claiming event to leg up and be full throttle 2nd out after a 2 1/2 month hiatus from the races

3 Towering  1st time Mitchell with a solid work tab........and he is as good as it gets when he drops a horse from MSW to maiden claiming
1 Midnight Con  very solid improvement in last both in pace and final time in1st ever on conventional dirt.......7 furlongs looks like a good fit and for many in here it won't be.....subtle positive rider switch
5 Tummel  his best effort by quite a margin was lone run on conventional dirt......repeat of that race would be very formidable here......trainer is hot
9 Congrats Ski  seemingly owns the best early foot in a race lacking speed.......trains awfully well in the a.m......yet to do much in the p.m......but drops and might be loose and lonely on the lead......that can wake-up many a "morning glory"
race 7Â Â Â below average clarity
2 Bwana Babe   proven fresh runner has won 4 of her last 5 races when she got loose on the lead.....that sure looks like case in this spot
7 Heidi Marie  good opportunity to get a nice chase position and first crack at challenging our top pick.....Glatt is solid repeating after breaking a horse's maiden....not many trainers are
4 Miss Radiant  scratched out of Sunday's 150K stakes for this......it's uncanny how many Cal horses succeed when scratching out of one spot for another.....late runner will be hoping for more pace than anticipated
5 Screaming Regal  another closer wanting some pace to run at.......apprentice has been riding decently so the 7 lbs. off sure looks like a bargain especially for a route race

6 Warren's Performer  nice wake up 1st ever on conventional dirt in layoff last.......reassuring work since......last fits......more today sure would make her rather solid....with a good trip of course
10 Babessa    the fact that Bejarano sticks around following a lackluster fresh off the bench run in last suggests that race was a tune-up for today's drop and go go go
8 Creston Cutie  needs a rebound.....race 2 back was decent......maiden debut race 4 back was a bad trip very strong run....trainer is hot and Rosario sticks around
3 Strawberry Road  5 year old mare takes the ever dangerous drop from MSW racing t0 maiden claiming in her 2nd lifetime start
7 Rags For Ben  last race on conventional dirt (3 races back) fits fairly well.....trainer is only winning at a 5% clip over the past year but is 11% "2nd start with trainer" which is the case today
11 Sweet Brown Sugar  work tab for this 1st timer is not too bad......mom has tossed 5 winners from 5 starters.....might be a runner
