Rather small fields today but the races seem very playable. Good chance to start the new week out on a good foot. Best of luck!
race 1Â Â Â average clarity
4 Elusive Cookies  showed a liking for the SA hill grass course in latest....trainer shows patience waiting for the same condition and distance.....meanwhile she has trained liked a very happy healthy sort
3 Rock And Glory  works say ready and the pedigree is good for the green stuff.....not the best of maiden debut trainers but not the best of fields either....so....a good spot for a 1st timer
5 So She Dances   tailed off badly before being laid up........very formidable if returns to the race wars with the form shown early in her career
6 Afleet Slew   poor history for conditioner with 1st time starters but......1st timer is trouble if she is ready and has some ability mostly because of this weak looking MSW race

4 Hadfunlastnight   wide trip in last or would have won......Koriner must feel this horse is doing awfully well to place 150% higher in claiming price
3 Forest Souvenir  solid move forward 2nd out after the layoff last summer....2nd out after the layoff today.......good sign that Bejarano sticks with the mount
1 Plenty Of Henny  consistent sort fits if ready off of 8 weeks off but work tab hints he might need this race.....if not then he fits fine

2 Elana Mar  nice win 1st ever on the lawn in last and trains as if a forward move can occur.......and if it does she should take this race with a decent trip-a-roo
3 Sunburn   looks to get a good trip on or near the lead in a race that may produce a very reasonable pace
4 Arrivederci Caro  just missed in last.....race 2 back at GG versus much better is very good.....last race fits.....2 back would make her the one to beat

7 Smart Hombre  hidden forward move in last first ever on the conventional dirt........dueled stuck on a dull inside.....repeat of that effort will be very formidable here
6 Cheers To Boogie  most in here don't finish up well......this gelding does.......blocked in the stretch in last or closer at the wire......more importantly blocked horses usually have something left for their next race not having exerted themselves fully
3 Unusual Pleasure  was working nicely prior to a bad looking 1st out......back quick and adds blinkers......trainer is much better with 2nd time starters.....hmmmmm
4 Linecum  will need very best.......3 races back would do.......especially at 6F where this pressing type tends to flatten out some

1 Bilbao   flashed good route speed 1st time long on the main track in last......grass pedigree is OK.......hot apprentice might be able to shake loose and wire.....2 sharp works should have this filly on edge
3 Scream Queen  out of the same 1 mile dirt race as our top pick.......bred to love the grass.....trainer is stout 2nd out after the claim....good chance to get a nice chase position
5 Warren's Amber  solid main track figs all three races since the blinkers were removed......training well.......grass pedigree is a bit suspect and is unproven around two turns or would have rated higher
2 Dustin's Magic   rather strong 4th pick.....little separates my 4 selections.....down little wrong in both lifetime races.......bred just fine to handle the sod

5 Warren's Hopeful   last race on the dirt which was 2 back fits well here both pace and final time wise......works sure suggest this gelding is doing well for old timer Jack Van Berg
3 Valentine's Wish  sprint tune-up in last and should be all set to run long on the drop in claiming
7 Mystery Bird  another with a tune-up in latest.....might need another but then again might not
6 Sunshine High  improving sort will need the trend to continue 1st time running a route of ground

8 Matto Mando  seeming a stout claim by Asmussen.... gelding is 7 for 10 at the distance.....won last 2 races impressively both with 4 weeks off....4 weeks off today
6 Times Gone By  freshened up off a 10 week break in the action with a good work series and drops.....Canani is usually very tough with such a maneuver
2 Euroglide  8 year old only gets to run 3 or 4 races a year before having to be laid up so my guess is Eurton won't waste a race and that this gelding will be ready fresh off the bench....best ever was a mile grass run at SA
3 Reach A Decision  bit of a failure in early winter for Sadler after taking over for Bill Mott.....but......training as though Sadler may have discovered the trump card for this horse....races last fall in Ky fit fine at today's level
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
6 Deluxe Bus   Sherlock has won with this horse on the drop down in the past.......fits a ton figure wise sprinting.....1st long but is bred just fine to stay a mile
4 King Cola  after slowly going down the class ladder this gelding is making a rebound of sorts.....Delgadillo knows this horse well
5 Valuation  seems best on real dirt and running a route of ground....should fit fine today
2 Liquid Asset  trainers record is quite good when he puts the blinkers back on......gets hot apprentice to ride....seems live here
3Â Star Dance M DÂ Â bombed on the Tup turf in last......race 2 back at today's distance fits fine
7 Tiz Liberty  needs strong dirt race run at SA 3 races back run in late October......maybe gimme gimme go ???????
