2 Arraignment  trainer Giker is good 2nd out after layoffs......lone race down the hill was versus better and she only got beat by a length..... and the effort was a couple of lengths better than par for today's race level
6 Warren's Dr. Yang  decent 1st ever on the grass in latest and it was on the hill course....good chance to get the same stalking trip as she had in her last
4 Gatheratthealter  has never been on the SA hill but is well proven on the sod.....dirt race 2 back is very powerful....that effort transferred to the turf would make him formidable here
7 Just Meteor  seems like a good sign that Mandella steps this speed grass horse up a few notches after dropping down to the very bottom to break her maiden...might be feeling really good

3 Brass Plate   sharp invader is a late runner and the connections have to be thrilled to have caught a field where the other 4 competitors want to be on or very near the lead
2 Coluda  Mitchell drops below the claiming price that he took this gelding for 2 races back.....always a dangerous thing for the likes of Mitchell
1 Best Verse  just claimed and drilled a decent 6F since for his new connections......capable of taking back a little off the pace and that appears to be the right move here
race 3Â Â Â average clarity
10 Best Heat  trip from you know where in last......bred fine to handle the hill....same energy as last with even a so so trip will be tough here
5 Starry Skies  plenty of preparation and decent grass pedigree for this 1ster....Jones has been hot
4 Fabulous Fashion  no shot in last wide on a rail bias.....did well to grab 2nd......barn mate won the race........fairly well bred to handle the sod
1 Best Present Ever  showed some life in 2 races which were run last summer........sure like the breeding to appreciate a turf sprint down the hill.....works seem good enough to be ready fresh off of the bench

2 Clear To Canada   not that Garcia isn't a very nice jock but I like the switch to Rosario on a closer that likes to circle the field which is where this gelding likes to be
5 Chop House George  fell off some in last....needs a rebound to his effort 2 back which fits solidly here
1 Summers At Delmar  this 5 year old gelding seems to run his best with 3 or 4 weeks between races and gets it
4 Rummysecret War  works sure are fast and fast out of nowhere........10 lb apprentice Keiber Coa is aboard.....1st lifetime win not impossible here....Dad will be watching

4 Unbridled Ambition  1st timer is training sharply especially for Jones who doesn't push his youngsters too hard usually..... I sure love the grass breeding for the hill
1 Willow Switch  on the right end of the learning curve and her training is awakening
10 Fast Moka Too  proven fresh runner is working up to snuff and owns decent grass pedigree
8 Lil Swiss Miss   Cerin has had two very recent 1st timers that fired in their maiden debuts.....trainers win in bunches....works are decent and so is her grass pedigree

5 Dr. Evil  strong drills for this laid up drop down from the MSW level..... appears meant and ready fresh
2 Party Mandate  1st timer finished up his work regiment with 2 gate works spaced only 3 days apart.....wound up like a top.....another who looks meant and ready
3 Patriotic Lion  blinkers on and a recent bullet gate work suggest the equipment change has improved this runner.....positive rider switch too
7 I'll Fly For You  excellent works for this 1st timer.......horrid record for his trainer.......meets leading rider up.........hmmmmm
Longshot Possibilities: 4 King Roar  up the track in maiden debut last....but went off at 20 to 1 so I doubt he was meant or ready.....switch to app who has won his last 6 of 11 for O'Neill....not impossible

2 Leroy's Dynameaux  small field should help this consistent late runner find a path to victory especially with a good turf jockey like Bejarano aboard
3 Sayif  last grass win came short to long 2nd out after the layoff....that is today's scenario
6 Pathfork  might have needed his 1st run in the USA in last....if so.......this colt should have as good a shot as anyone in this 6 horse field

5 Dani's Sis  decent move forward in 2nd lifetime race...and now we get a positive rider switch
11 Lorenbray  Mitchell claimed way back in early August......laid up since but training like he is ready fresh........1st time blinkers historically is a good thing for a Mitchell runner
4 Swiss Charm  overdo drop out of MSW racing should put this filly in mix for the win at this lower level
1 Game Changer  needs to avoid flattening out late at 7F.......most likely will need to avoid sitting too close to the front if the pace is stout
2 Blue Eyes Included    clunker in last....... race 3 back fits and his race 2 back is much better than appears in print....needs a rebound
3 Two Per Cent  so far trains better than runs.......new jock up today to try to find some of that a.m. ability in the p.m.
