OK card once again today like yesterday.

Best of luck as always!

race 1    average clarity

2  Lady Comic    last was only so so but solid efforts 2 and 3 races back........and a recent bullet 4F drill is awfully impressive for this low level of racing......light weight capable apprentice might come flying late

7  Night Teller   closed as well as she could for second in last as the pace up front was quite slow at the 1/2 and she was 7 lengths out of it

3  Secret Of Success   result in her mc debut was compromised by a poor start and a wide trip........reassuring 4F drill since.......Carla Gaines is better with 2nd time starters

8  Enchanted Dreams

race 2    average clarity

7  Chokecherymary   3 for 3 on firm turf including a win at today's 1 1/8th mile distance.......effort/fig in that race fits fine at today's higher level.....training as if she is feeling fine.......trainer is having a nice meeting at SA

1  Sydney's Darling    obvious lone speed here with a nice turf speed jock aboard in T C Baze......1st ever long on the sod but ran well in latest in a route on an off track

6  I Dazzle   best preparatory a.m. work for a Van Berg runner in many a moon......feeling good and proven at the 1 1/8 distance on the turf

2  Jolly Days

race 3    average clarity

4  Warren's Lorie S.   significant rider upgrade.......highly likely to be on or very near the lead in this spot.......trainer is doing quite a bit better than his record indicates

3  Penrose   last sure looks the gimme for this 2nd time Jeff Mullins horse to go go go on the drop out of MSW racing to the bottom level of maiden claiming in S Cal

9  Nonna Reese   trainer is hot but the rider is not........would have rated this filly (who has done little wrong in 2 conventional dirt sprints) higher if she hadn't drawn a difficult post for her 1st ever around 2 turns

6  Nekomata

race 4    slightly above average clarity

5  My Philly Girl   not so hot in last but toss it out as it was an off track affair........1st two lifetime races on fast tracks are very strong effort wise and against solid competition .......sunny forecast for today

2  Splendid Fortune   Mr. Bob Baffert with a horse with the best early speed in the race.........that'll do

4  Egg Drop   can run every bit as well and maybe better than our top two selections but she has been awfully poor breaking from the gate.......did break well somewhat ironically in her MSW debut 4 back

race 5    slightly above average clarity

3  Unbridled's Note   powerful overwhelming fig 2 back in a race down the SA hill.......that is what we get if he fires his "A game".......and he still fits as well as anyone if he fires his "B game"

2  Chips All In   seems dangerous in this spot as even though he is basically a router he might still be the speed of the speed in this turf sprint affair

6  Make Music For Me   very impressive the only time he ever ran down the SA hill.......strong stretch run from too far back in affair with a lackluster pace up front

7  Irish Art

race 6    average clarity

5  Flower Power   sure looks loose on the lead here with the meets leading rider aboard.........crushed the field the only time this 4 year old gelding was loose

2  Sun's Out   last two races fit well effort/fig wise for this declining horse.........one of the individuals in this race to overcome if he's got another decent race left in him........recent drill and the fact Gomez sticks around hints that he does

10  Rock Off   logical overdo drop here and the trainer could sure use a winner......he's a somewhat snake bit with 6 2nd's and 3 3rd's (and no wins) in 24 starts at the meet

6  Papa Lev   (tie for 4th pick)

8  Clear   (tie for 4th pick)

race 7    average clarity

6  Buffalo Billy   sure has been facing better and he is training like his trainer means bizz here as he might lose the horse at the claiming box and he wants him to win if he does........come on struggling 1 win at the meet Valdivia

7  Smoking G   equipment changes on significant drop downs into claiming make me somewhat leery but this gelding sure fits in this softer spot if his health has remained intact

1  Grumpy Small Mouth   trainer is 14 of his last 27 dropping off of a win which is the case here and this runner is 3 for 5 on the sod.......that'll do

3  Champions Gate

race  8    slightly below average clarity

2  Capital Account   owns some powerful efforts on the Santa Anita dirt track when it has been rated "fast".....and he is training "lights out" even by Bob Baffert standards.......and that is saying something

3  Justin Phillip   fairly solid in last two races which were both at SA and were run at 6F........and today he gets to run at 6 1/2 furlongs which seems to be his favorite distance

6  Sahara Sky   2 wins and 2 very close 2nd's in 4 races on the SA main track.....last fits fairly well and it was run off of a 7 month layoff

7  The Lumber Guy

race 9    slightly below average clarity

10  Buckleberry Grey   done little wrong in 4 lifetime turf races with the blinkers on which they are on today........and lone race down the hill is good.....and today we get a rider upgrade especially in a turf race

6  Uno Dos Mas   bad trip in lone lifetime race back in early September....was bet rather hard that debut race........returns as a 1st time gelding......working like he is meant and ready fresh off of the bench

3  Blue Cherokee   5 straight gate works (including a bullet drill on 3 Feb.) strongly suggest that this O'Neill 1ster is meant and ready for his debut into the wonderful world of thoroughbred racing

5  Thunder's Rollin"

8  Wind Of Bosphorus

7  Quiet Force
