Los Alamitos for Friday 19 September 2014

Back from some R & R and feeling good.

So so card today but the weekend racing is quite good quality wise for Lrc. Hope it is as good handicapping wise as well.

Best of luck as always!

race 1    average clarity

3  Slapshot Man   debut was decent......but more importantly improved works since.....forward we go today

5   Cloudy River   bet hard in debut and ran fairly well.......solid today if benefited from the race

4  Karaoke Cat   Clifford Sise used to be dangerous with mc 1sters in the past

6  Papa Kade

race 2    slightly below average clarity

6  Boom Boys   both lifetime endeavors fit.....and the recent works have never been better

3  Money Tree   lone race at Lrc fits and it is somewhat hidden by a so so trip......better jock up today

2  Swiss Fondue   strong race in mc debut back on 14 August on the AW........fits well here if he can manage to do as well on the conventional dirt at Lrc

10  Z Z Thunder

Long-shot consideration:   5  Matzoh Ball Magic   laid up gelding is training nicely.......strong maiden debut last year and it is totally hidden be a very bad trip....fresh again today

race 3    average clarity

5  Myrna Lou   fell off in last......3 previous races fit well......needs a rebound

6  Holiday Maker    nice winning mc debut.........might only need a repeat of the effort to repeat here......likely the one to beat if builds off of the race

4  R Sweet Addiction   beat our top pick quite easily in maiden debut at Tup............away over 4 months but likely ready fresh as he was for his debut

1  Wackett

race 4    average clarity

3  South Texas   solid forward move in 2nd lifetime race which was on the Lrc surface....repeat of the effort here makes him a major factor

6  Chexcess   trainer is 43% win at the meeting and seems to have worked this filly well enough for her to be ready for her MSW debut

7  Caymus Kat   Proctor 1st timer has put in tightly spaced and numerous drills which says ready

5  Party Rock

race 5    average clarity

1  Youonlyliveonce   old timer has been doing exceptionally well at 9 and 10 years of age (30 6 7 10).....and has a good history with today's jock up

3  Bench Press   lead type only has a shot to get what he needs here

4  Late Night Sky   good history stalking the lead and he seems likely to get that position here

2  Warren's Jeff G.

race 6    average clarity

4  Lady Dash   repeat of last fits solidly......and a jockey upgrade for today

9  Honey In Paradise   OK Tup debut.....decent work regiment in preparation  for today.....spotted well at the mc30K level

2  Imperial Badger   last is better than appears in print.......still......needs to move forward a couple of lengths to compete for the top prize......Cerin has had a good meeting so far

12  AE   Misty Warrior

11  Due Rae

race 7    slightly above average clarity

3  Rosewhitenblue   route fit is often a positive for a 7F race.....hasn't seen conventional dirt in some time but one of her best efforts ever was on the 'real thing"

1  Tim's Go Girl   major forward move in last at Dmr 1st out after the O'Neill claim and the effort is hidden running wide on a good rail day......seems fine on the "dirt"

5  Appealing Resume   proven at Lrc and likes 7F.....trainer is decent 1st out following a claim which is the case today

race 8    average clarity

6  Cocabella Myst   both lifetime races fit and one of them was at Lrc

8  Alissa R N   last looked like a public work-out.....very strong 4F drill since on the dirt at SA.......drops back to S Cal's bottom level maiden claiming......rebound city

10  Sunday Stroll   on the right end of the learning curve and a strong work since her last.....seems likely to keep the trend intact

4  Swiss Perfection

Long-shot consideration:     12  Honky Tonk Diva   showed life for the 1st time in 7th lifetime start........fits if gets an OK trip and moves forward a couple of lengths in start number 8.....should be a big price
