I have some computer issues this week as my equipment is on the fritz. So I bit the bullet and ordered all new which won't come until next week. I am very excited as I will have a much more powerful PC and two large monitors to help me with many aspects most of all the note taking of each and every race run in S Cal and sometimes elsewhere. Thanks for your patience.

Best of luck as always!

race 1    average clarity

4  Take A Risk   strong route effort 2 races back and the race is disguised by a poor trip......sure appeared to be nothing more than a public work-out in last in a sprint of six panels.......full throttle go today back in a route where he belongs

6  Perfect Set   most of his career routing fits......back to the level where he was claimed for 3 races back

8  Fonz

7  Jackson Sundown

race 2    average clarity

5  Satin Cinnamon   one check in 6 MSW races so the connections finally relent and place this three year old filly where she in a maiden claimer where she will be a major player if of course she has remained in good physical condition

1  Fab Four Ever   trapped dueling on a dull rail in last hides an improvement with 1st time blinkers.......1st time Bejarano today

4  Easter Lillian

2  Monterey Legacy

Long-shot consideration:   Hildy  dull works prior to maiden debut led to a dull race.......but since (seemingly out of thin air) this filly worked a markedly better 6 furlongs at Slr.......and her trainer is much more dangerous with 2nd time starters........hmmm

race 3    below average clarity

6  Como Mi Padre   last fits decently and the works since are quite a bit better than he showed prior to his last start......seems to be sitting on a better race today........if that occurs he will be one tough cookie in this spot

2  Sir Barclay   back to Mr Bejarano who owns the last 3 wins for this colt and he accomplished that in his last 4 mounts on him

3  Harbaugh

7  Celtic Moon

race 4    below average clarity

4  Big Break   four year old filly has been facing better and gets to run in a protected race today.......such a deal.........and her trainer Steve Knapp is having one of his better meetings in many a moon......showed be motoring late

7  Vocalist   on the right end of the learning curve.......sure fits if his progression continues this afternoon

8  Grey Girl Gone

2  Council Rules

Long-shot consideration:   6  So Golden   the "price" combo of the meet by far has been the combination of Cassidy and Gonzalez..........three year old filly overcame a tough trip in her maiden debut to win going away at the wire........likely will need a better trip and a small forward move........which has the right to occur with a racing experience under her belt

race 5   average clarity

6  Velvet Mesquite   fell off some in latest but has been given plenty of time off to recover.......5 for 8 on the SA hill grass course.........seems likely to sit in a nice stalk position and with 4 lbs less to carry than her last

4  Go West Marie   consistent filly just won a State-bred Stakes race down the hill......and today's jock Gary Stevens is 2 for 2 on her and looking to make it 3 for 3

3  Warren's Gussie

7  Star Field

race 6    average clarity

1  Sidepocket Champ   bug boy has a horrid record in sprints so count on some trip trouble......but even with some trouble this five year old should have a shot to circle (likes to run wide which is OK these days on the SA surface) the field and close in the stretch racing against the softest group of his career

11  Kings Adventure    no shot in last - big speed on a dull rail......that is like trying to run on the beach where the sand is dry..........drops........trainer is cold.......due to wake up

2  Coolington

12  Know More

race 7    above average clarity

6  Fighting Squadron   hello SA hill.........five year old gelding sure took to the hill in his 1st ever on it......repeat of the effort should take this race..........bullet 4F drill just 5 days ago says he has remained sharp

1  Forest Chatter    just keeps getting better......and better......and better.......and......

10  Back To Backo

9  Corinthian's Song

race 8    average clarity

7  Warren's Veneda   track has been kind to off pace wide runners which fits this Craig Lewis mare well.......1st at 1 1/8th but the way in which she finishes at 1 1/16th you would thing the added distance would be a plus

3  Dame Dorothy   Todd Pletcher invader gets Bejarano to ride.........filly likely sits in a good mid pack position which has been successful for him multiple times in his career.......such a deal

4  Thegirlinthatsong

2  Cassatt

race 9   below  average clarity

6  Show Stealer   poor start in last hurt plenty as the pace up front was lackluster and yet she closed awfully well......and her recent a.m. work hints she has never been sharper.......and........she gets Stevens up for the 1st time which is a dangerous proposition especailly when Tom Proctor is the trainer

1  Lookinfordanger    flashed big speed in turf sprint debut........wire to wire shot 1st at route which so is bred OK for

11  Kiana Believes

12  Paulina's Love

4  Cool Moves

10  Zip N Bayou
