Best of luck as always!

race 1    average clarity

4  War Moccasin   finally got some pace to close into in her latest and this filly ran a race that fits solidly here......prior to that she was unlucky catching multiple pace-less affairs in a row which greatly compromised her chances.......should be tough with today's drop down

1  Aura Rose   T Baze should be able to sit close up and save ground in what should shape up with a doable pace......if that is what occurs then it is difficult not seeing this filly being a major player in this spot without a lot of speed signed up

8  Goseecal   tough post to cope with as the rails are out 30 feet.....that and the only chink in Edwin Roman's armor is riding in turf routes.......but........it is hard to ignore anything Cerin puts on the track right now

6  Looking At Thelake

7  Candy Swirl

2  November Tale

race 2    average clarity

1  Batiquitos   plenty of gas signed up in this affair should set things up nicely for this Bill Spawr off pace runner........who......has done little wrong in 2 lifetime races

2  Dangerously Close   has a chance to be the speed of the speed here and might have some versatility as she shows some signs at being able to rate.....so the meets co-leader at the moment Edwin Roman might have options......thus.....enhancing his chances of visiting the circle of joy

6  Red Stitch   filly does her best running on the SA dirt and is training quite well off of the 2 1/2 month break....that and she needs some heat up front and has a good chance of getting it in this affair

race 3    average clarity

1  Saint Dermot   trainer Mark Glatt is hot to start the new meeting and might keep the ball rolling here with this seven-year old gelding who steps up in claiming for the 2nd straight time......that hints he is feeling good and ready to continue his rebound in form

6  Raagheb   another in a line of Jacobson significant drop downs in claiming......last few have run bad....but prior to that he had some run well.......hate these kind......flip a coin

3  Awe   interesting claim by Hollendorfer as this five-year old is 2 for 3 on conventional dirt and 1 for 17 everywhere else......good rider/trainer combo over the last two months as in 3 for their last 8

5  Gonna Fly Now

race 4    above average clarity

11  Liberty Jack   been away since Feb. but drops a little and his lifetime best of 3 starts to date was his dirt sprint at SA run off of a five month break.......10 month break this time around.....nice a.m. work at GG in preparation for today.....and draws the red-hot apprentice rider Edwin Roman

5  Pure Pursuit   Sadler is very dangerous dropping MSW runners to low-level maiden claimers over the years and that is the case here with this four-year old gelding.......that and the cut back of one furlong appears to be a plus for this fellow

4  Thankful Every Day   on the improve with every start and his latest move forward is somewhat disguised by about 4L of trip/pace adjustment.......and like our 2nd choice 5 1/2F appears to be a good fit

10  Milhaud

9  Gio's Gold

12  Magical More

race 5    average clarity

1  Wendy's Back   cut back in distance route turf to sprint turf is almost always a plus for a grass race down the hill....and one positive rider upgrade especially so for a grass race........seems like to sit mid pack and be in the mix by the turn or stretch

9  Get Yourself Home   broke poorly in MSW dirt debut at Dmr and showed plenty of life after being compromised at the start....switches to the turf for her 2nd lifetime start and she owns an OK pedigree for it.....that and she retains Bejarano who is looking sharper than usual and that is saying something

11 AE  Radish   only race down the majestic Santa Anita hill grass course arguably is her career best as she was blocked badly or would have graduated that day.......away since May but works strongly suggest she is ready to roll.....barn is cold......they seem overdue

2  Zillinda

5  My Aunt Tilly

8  Arunachala

6  Lil Bit Dangerous

race 6    average clarity

1  Backintheacademy   best at Santa Anita on the dirt and gets a major trainer upgrade for today........won the last time she ran at SA (two races back) on the dirt by 8 lengths and at 2 claiming levels higher.......decent shot to win 1st out for Peter Miller

5  Forbidden Command   very consistent sort partly because she is a smooth runner with tactical speed.....and she seems best at today's one mile distance.....not out of the win picture by any means

8  Honor Maker   toss out last as she had the trip from you know where.......race 2 back might do the trick as although she ran only a decent fig she did after all win by 11 lengths

7  Optimistic Outcome

6  Sheswildnfree

race 7    above average clarity

2  Dr. Troutman   seems best on the SA turf.........and lifetime best was the only time this Cal-bred raced at the 9F turf distance running 3rd at 53 to 1 in a 200K Stakes.......and Smith is up for the 1st time ever on this colt and for his only mount of the day

7  Full Access   improving sort has been absent since 12 November but he is showing 5 solid drills since and retains the red-hot trainer/rider combination in Cerin and Desormeaux.......9F is a question mark but that is the case for just about everyone in this Cal bred nw alw race

3  The Big Train   if anyone takes to the 9 furlongs that this affair has to offer it likely will be this Miller five-year old who sure finishes at 1 1/16th like 1 1/8th will be a plus........but.......he does have a tendency to hang in the stretch in grass races

5  Six Point Rack

1  Nap Lajoie

race 8    average clarity

9  Condi   cut back of a full furlong appears to be a plus for this Sadler filly who is declining but has enough time off (and with some decent a.m. work showing) to compete at today's MC30K level........and it is a good sign the hot bug boy rides for the 1st time

5  Tiny Tina   31 to 1 in her MSW on the grass and now in a MC20K......classic turf muscle her up gimme to be fully fit and ready to roll in today's bottom level maiden claimer.......won't be 31 to 1 this afternoon

10  Mariana's Girl   on the right end of the learning curve and now for her 4th lifetime start she gets a rider upgrade.......very dangerous sort if the improving trend continues

1  Atrevida

3  Dialed to Go

2  Party At Midnight
