Belmont is less than 2 weeks away and our special pub with full race card selections and comments will be available in a couple of days at a discount.

Best of luck as always!

race 1    average clarity

8  Super Patriot   Baffert filly drops to the lowest maiden level of her career following 10 starts and races at a turf distance that she seems at her best........Baffert likely said, "enough is enough it's time to win"

2  South Boot Shirley   O'Neill is a stellar 31% MSW to maiden claiming over a large sampling of 86 runners.......three year old filly draws a nice post.......Shirley should be a major player

1  Dianka   tough to judge how well this Cal-bred fits at SA off of a 2nd place finish in a one mile turf race at Tup......she is improving with each and every race......seems dangerous if her new trainer Mike Puype keeps the trend going

7  Irish Lassie

6  Bad and Bougie

race 2    average clarity

7  Naturalborn Singer  Hollendorfer two-year old filly 1st time starter appears meant and ready to roll with back to back works further than today's distance and the work two back out of the gate is awfully impressive for a two filly Cal-bred

4  Lippy   O"Neill 1ster has put in 6 works and that hint she owns some early speed......and her last preparatory drill out of the gate indicates she is ready at 1st asking

8  Time for Kisses   only two-year old to have raced......she was bet to 9 to 5 in her debut and ran well finishing a close 2nd with a gap of 4 1/2 lengths to 3rd.......not out of the win picture by any means

3  Sunny Holly

2  Naugthy Tiger

race 3    average clarity

1  Twirling Tiger  nice improvement 2nd out after the long layoff.....and drops into an easier spot......low % trainer these days in Carava but not 3rd out after layoffs where he is 20% win with his last 25

2  Chrisisccokin   nicely improved 2nd out after Vallejo took over the training duties.....3 reassuring works since his latest.....appears as if he can get the lead just as he did in winning his last

3  Strngent   was last a gimme to get away with today's drop down......or.........just a shelled out six-year old.......we shall find out about 1:30 pacific

race 4    average clarity

6  Flammetta   filly is on the right end of the learning curve and now gets a significant jockey upgrade......very strong one mile grass fig in last......it would seem that this filly would have to slip off form or hate the SA hill not to be formidable here

7  An Eddie Surprise   very proven and consistent filly on the SA hill turf course (5 3 2 0)........and Gutierrez has been aboard for all 5 of those races.......hard not seeing her giving a good account of herself but she might be up against it if our top choice runs the race that I think she will

2  Quinnie   1st in a turf sprint might be a good thing as this filly has been right there at the 6 1/2 furlong mark of her one mile turf races.......that and the last time Gaines used Bejarano it led to a nice priced winner

1  Sekhmet's Revenge

race 5    average clarity

2  Briatic Gal   last effort which was the 10 May version of this race sure fits well if this mare has held form.....that and the rider and trainer have been a reliable combination together

3  Jill Madden   it hasn't been easy to go wire to wire in dirt routes at SA but this improving filly looks rather formidable if she moves forward again.....and with one tough guy to get by in Pedroza

1  Quiet No More   rider/trainer are on fire as a team the last two months to the tune of 5 for their last 11 and with a very positive return if you bet on them

7  Paschalitsa

race 6    below average clarity

2  St. Joe Bay  it has been awhile since this Miller six-year-old brought his "A game" (which would handle this group) but he might be up to his best today.......he sure likes SA (9 3 4 0) and reunites with Kent Desormeaux who has won multiple Graded sprints with him......and the gelding is a perfect 2 for 2 at today's distance of 6 1/2F

3  El Huerfano   only 6 1/2 furlong race that this Miller charge ran at the distance was quite good and disguised in its strength.......six year old has been away since November but he is working well enough to fire fresh

1  Stone Hands   colt has really matured at 4 with 2 wins and 2 2nd's in 4 2018 races.......that and the trio of O'Neill/Gutierrez/Reddam are at "peak dangerous" right now

7  Giant Influence

race 7    average clarity

2  Bowies Hero   D'Amato four your old colt is a stellar 6 for 9 at today's turf distance........very nice Grade One win in his latest which was run on March 10th......same post - distance - and jock........trainer knows how to get a turf star ready.........hard not seeing this fellow making a good account of himself

6  Heart to Heart   seven-year old is still going strong with back to back G1 turf wins.......and the elder statesman has an abundance of turf route speed......regular rider Julien Leparoux is up......if the one or the 10 don't push him much he will be tough to wheel in

3  Pavel   colt was very stout as a three-year old but not nearly as good as a four-year old.......it seems to be the perfect time to race in his 1st grass race which he is very well-bred for........the new surface might wake him up in a big way

8  Next Shores

9  Blackjackcat

race 8    average clarity

3  Donut Girl   disappointing for the connections so far off of what seemed like a good claim.........the rider was tossed as favorite 1st after the claim and then their new filly threw somewhat of a dull 3rd place run but did so in a route which she appeared to dislike.......sprint today and with a recent solid 4F work that hints Palma has tweaked something for the better

7  Love a Honeybadger   won the 5 May version of this race but was not up for a tag........she can win again if she is still OK health wise but it seems somewhat suspicious that she is eligible to be claimed for 16K......flip a coin type

4  Wandering Patrol   nice MSW debut win at 1st asking with few reasons not to believe that she can't fire another strong race and be a major factor in the outcome of this race

5  Batiquitos

race 9    average clarity

4  Bragging Rights   stepped up her latest from MC20K to MC30K and improved but did not win running 2nd.......logical step back down to MC20K.......solid works since her last......hard not to like

1  Pulpitinthesky   good stats for Glatt in all the relevant trainer categories for this filly racing in a much softer spot for her 4th career race........very dangerous

11  Power Booked   Baltas 1ster appears to be ready to run a strong race in her debut off of copious a.m. work including 4 5F gate works......and mom has tossed 10 winners from 11 starters......an impressive Dam stat to say the least

9  Purdue

5  Smart Rachel

race 10    average clarity

6  Ancient Secret   last race was a win down the hill but I doubt it would do the trick here.......race 2 back also down the hill might with a cleaner trip.......works of late in preparation for today are vastly improved.....rather sure this mare runs her best since winning a Grade 2 at Saratoga back in July 2016

1  Coniah   filly is consistent down the hill but still only owns one win in 5 races down it........believe she needs her effort 3 or 5 or 6 back.......but.....not her last two races which are not as good as they appear in print

3  Belvoir Bay   hard to not use or like a mare who is 3 for 4 on the SA hill and earned $161K in those 4 races....not out of the win picture by any means

7  Classy Tune

9  Compelled
