 2, 3, 5 / 3, 8 / 2, 3, 4 ,5     24 bets
Â
race 1   slightly above average clarity
6 Exile  race seemingly sets for speed...this improving colt can chase and challenge our 2nd choice in the stretch
4 One Shot  trainer has won 3 of his 4 starts at the meeting.....the 4 horse looks loose in this spot and will difficult to catch if he slows it down early
3 Tiz Afire  powerful effort in last (fig) and on the improve but he's a dep closer and will need more pace the anticipated to be at his best
race 2Â Â Â average clarity
8 Grato  rather sure this 1ster is ready to roll in debut.....tightly spaced and solid drills for a barn like Abrams who doesn't push his babies too hard in their morning works
11 Born To Shop  significant speed in this spot and I like the fact that this colt has shown his speed from outside posts including the outermost 9 post in his last
4 Scrutinizing Kat  Koriner popped at the tune of $31.80 with a 1ster on Sunday (our 3rd choice in the race) andbarns often send out ready 1st timers in bunches...works suggest he's ready as well
1 Playing For Keeps  works are good enough to suggest he's ready for his debut into the racing world......Flores rode a 1st timer to victory 28 Feb for the Eurton barn (he was our top pick that day and paid $13.40 win)
race 3Â Â Â average clarityÂ
6 Mind The Minister   very strong figs on Top Turf Today performance ratings at today's distance of 1 mile....good trainer/rider combo especially in grass affairs
3 Cavanal  consistent sort only needs to learn how to win a race....8 2nd's in 16 lifetime starts but only 2 wins....Bejarano knows horse well
2 Self Made Man  good chance to get a nice chase position behind a suspect leader
4 Nitro Active  tossed a clunker in last but if we excuse that effort he fits just fine...Gomez accepting mount suggests he's doing OKÂ
race 4Â Â Â above average clarity
5 Free Flying Soul  likes SA....likes 6F....and Smith is riding his best in a very long time and consistently whales away on front runners  (hopefully we don't jinx him with our 1st ever posting featuring him in Opinions and Observations which will be up sometime today
2 Quisisana  5 for 5 in the win column at 6 and 6 1/2 furlongs for this outstanding lightly raced mare....very sharp drill for today's race...would have been top pick if the 5 horse had more front runners to cope with
3 Sweet August Moon  last surely looks like the tune-up (rotten trip) to be full throttle today in this gals 2nd out after the layoff
race 5Â Â Â above average clarity
8  Teafatiller  earned a solid fig with a bad trip and that was witha 14 month layoff....training terrific since.....come on Atkinson.....not such a sloppy ride this time and you can get your 5th win of the meet
3 Unusually Sound  solid 2nd closing into little pace up front in this gelding's maiden debut which was on the sod.....Gallagher 1st very tough with this kind in their 2nd lifetime run
7 Bud I Crushed  has to face older today but 7 lbs off and seemingly inherits a nice chase position
5 Excess Power  bad trip in maiden debut on the AW and still only beat by 5.....switch to the grass and two turns but bred to handle both
race 6Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
5 Summer Games  47 to 1 in a 5 horse Grade 1 and only got beat by 4 for the win and only lost to the eventual Oaks winner by 1...that says at all....vast improvement......bullet work since
3 Haggai  strong efforts in all three lifetime runs....works of late say she maybe even better
4 Pink Blossom  Smith looks loose in this spot and as usual he won't be easy to catch
race 7Â Â Â average clarity
8 Leedstheway  scratched for this race from the other day.....easily wired in a no pace race 3 weeks ago.....should feel great coming off such an easy effort
2 Hewitts  long hiatus from the racetrack but has preformed well on the hill in the past and sure trains as tough he's ready despite the long layoff
7 Noblety very very consistent sort and a smooth runner...this gelding has won 3 of 4 hill course races
6 Hey Elvis  Aussie invader faced some solid animals overseas and will be a big factor if he is ready for his 1st run since July
race 8Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
4 L'Enchanteresse  seems like a logical drop out of MSW grass races to break her maiden....hopefully she is still healthy
8 Warrens Matchmaker  last race really hides this filly....closed well into a total lack of pace up front....consistent sort for a very low % barn
1 This Time Baby  good speed...should be prominent thru-out with a hot rider especially with on or near the pace route types
3 Macho Miss  OK 1st route run in last and the barn is usually much stouter in 2nd lifetime route
2 Fair Kisses  shows life these days sprinting.... gives a route run a try
