Handicappers Corner
Believe there are 3 races where the morning line favorite is vulnerable so I recommend you box our selections in the exacta in those races which are the 2nd, 4th, and 6th. (Make sure that the morning line favorite does get bet hard or the returns may not be worth risking)
Â
race 1   average clarity Â
6Â Walkin D Talk
4Â Warren's Gus
3Â Mi Marino
8Â Bourne To Romp
Â
race 2Â Â Â average clarity
4Â Warren's Royal Cat
6Â Gotcher Number
3Â Free Bet
8Â Free Time
Â
race 3Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
1 Buck's Bro  laid up M Jones charge is training as if ready fresh....also it makes sense that this isn't a fitness gimme because Hollywood is right around the corner and this gelding's past is poor at that track
2 Lordgivemealift  has only one other speed horse (no. 5) to put away....very tough whenever he gets a clear lead
Â
race 4Â Â average clarity
6 Unionize  long layoff but training as well as any laid up animal has trained for the Sise barn in quite some time......all 4 lifetime starts involved strong pace and were better than par for this MSW level
5 Derive  after 3 grass race endeavors this colt finally gets to race on the Pro-ride where he has constantly trained extremely fast
1 Resplendently  long hiatus from the race wars but training up a storm especially for a trainer like Bell who doesn't push his stock too hard in the mornings
race 5Â Â Â average clarity
3 Spun Silver  10 months since last race but training as if all set to run fresh off of the bench......proven fresh both with pace and final time ...should be in the hunt from the get goÂ
1 No Mistress  competitive in all 4 lifetime races...may fire best every coming off a grass sprint
5 Stormy Slew  new barn for her run off of the long layoff....training like a much improved animal...small but capable barn is hot of  late
race 6   average clarity Â
3 Entabeni  needed last off of the long layoff and worked very strong since that decent return run.....like that Sadler steps this one up in claiming price
2 Vikkilee  toss last...16 year old apprentice sat too far back behind a slow pace.....back to Bejarano who won this horse's only hill course raceÂ
4 Ashee  barn is solid 1st on the grass and this laid up horse is training better than any Dollase layoff filly in quite some time
race 7Â Â average clarityÂ
2 Blame The Wine  loves the distance....loves the track.....has the most early speed in a race that lacks it and usually rates kindly
4 Torrey Cliffs  ultra consistent sort....Knapp keeps putting speed into this filly in the morning which should come in handy in this spot lacking speed types
1 Initial Impression  1 for 1 on the AW......broke MSW in open company....gets 1st time Bejarano
race 8Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
2 Olympic Magic  decent figs last year at SA....looks well drilled for today's comeback run....Ellis has woken up in a big way
6 Oh Now  last two races fit fine and now the gelding is back quick..may fire best ever today
7 Hollywood Magic  dueled in strong pace versus a solid foe and rightfully tired.....can be prominent thru-out....very tough if moves forward for a low % outfit 2nd out after the layoff
1 Tribunal Blues  exits an extremely key field and is training as if he benefited from his maiden debut run
5  High Way Sixty Six  long long layoff but drops out of MSW and is training up to snuff
