Handicappers Corner Â
Folks, as you know I seldom make excuses for a lousy day but yesterday outside posts and outside trips dominated after the fairest (neutral) track that Dmr has seen on Friday. I bring this up not just to whine a little but remind you that the Dmr synthetic is inconsistent and I wish they would get it right...it's not like the weather changes much. Must be the tide. Right!!!
Â
Like the last pick 3 got a bit
7th race pick 3 prt-wheel 6,7,10,11 / 1,4,5,7 / 3,5,8,9Â 64 bets
Â
race 1Â Â Â average clarity
3 Avid  love the pedigree for this expensive animal.......good work series topped off with a blistering 5 furlong bullet gate work and at was at Dmr...very ready 1ster
5 Big Tiz  earned a decent MSW debut fig albeit on the sod....but...better breeding for the main track
2 Righteous Renee  needed MSW debut tightener in last.........trainer is much tougher with 2nd time starters
Â
race 2Â Â Â below average clarity
3  Bandeira Union  races on the AW fit fine....may have spent too much time on the sod
2 Deputy Flyer  yikes, the horses that ran 1-2 in his last race both came back to win yesterday....positive rider switch as wellÂ
6 Wolgan Valley  not the best of trainers on significant drop downs but solid if he breaks the mold here
5 Kingman Kid  improving with every race and will need to keep the trend going
Â
race 3Â Â Â below average clarity
9 Breakmark  10 months off but training sharply......only lifetime race lost about 5 or 6 lengths with a bad start
7 Romeo Royale  work series for a trainer like Abrams is rather srtong.....believe he is ready with this colt
5 Fortunate Appeal  solid debut and continues to work like a runner
3 Hugs To All  getting out on the turn pressing a solid pace......cleaner less green horse makes him as good as anyone here
Â
race 4Â Â Â average clarity
8 Fair Chase  showed an appreciation for the Dmr surface last year....proven fresh......work tab has "ready" written all over it
7 Victory Dash  very consistent efforts....needs to get over his hanger tendencies
5 Misinjennuous  all four career races on the main track fit fine at today's level
4 Torrey Cliffs  overdo drop for this filly should id in her ability to contend for the top prize
Â
race 5Â Â average clarity
7 Ranger Heartly   caught in a wide rush on turn 1 in last....it was very impressive to only get beat by less than 3 in a Grade 3.....loose here and if we get the track 2 days ago the light weight apprentice can wire
8 Cigar Man  last was the gimme to drop into claiming and go go go
6 Diferentkindagreat  great consistency for this gelding....few reasons to think he won't be highly competitive again
5 Gold Aly   strong race in last 3 months ago....work tab suggests we may see it again today
Â
race 6Â Â Â average clarity
4 Battle School   solid turf race in only turf route race....works have never been better....should show best ever today
5 Blazing  2 good looking turf sprints and now gives a route a try...nice work series
7 Sky Fox  looks like lone speed in this race and that is a dangerous thing work M Smith aboard....note: route turf speed was much better yesterday with the rail moved out to the 7 ft position
8 Big Cozz  hasn't raced in over a year but a strong long distance work series should have ready
Â
race 7Â Â Â average clarity
11  Saint Isbelle  young filly is getting good quickly....far outside posts dominated yesterday and that sure would help this girl if we get the same track
10 Nan  last time she sprinted it was a significant number that would beat these.....sure seems ready fresh off of the bench
7 Subsidized  strong figs in both lifetime races and would have been top pick if it wasn't for the cold winds a blowin across the red hot Baffert barn
6 True Religion  monster of a race run at Crc and excellent drills at Crc since....sent west fit and ready to roll
Â
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
5 Cost Of Freedom  3 for 5 at Dmr and eye popping drills one of which was at Dmr......crushes if we get the Dmr surface 2 days ago....taller order if we get yesterday's nightmare for speed
7 Smiling Tiger  outstanding 3 year old sprinter can get a nice outside stalking position
4 El Brujo   solid late running sprinter sure worked well for his new barn over the Dmr surface
Â
race 9Â Â Â average clarity
9 The Full Lavino  rest and strong drills and his lowest racing level ever make him the one to beat
5 Morganouska  Hess can sent a mdn claimer ready to win with the best of them......work series says all set to roll and should be a price
8 Dazzling Razz  in good form and fit to finish coming off a route race....hot jock/trainer
3 Night Justice  training as if ready compete in lifetime debut....also was bet some at the windows last Saturday but scratched after acting up at the gate
7 Cookin Express  capable of getting away and being loose....wants Friday's track
*the 14 horse Peanut Butter fits if he draws into the field
