Handicappers Corner
Recommended pick 3 part wheel starts in race number 5
1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9 with 2 with 2,4,6,7,8,9Â Â Â Â Â 48 bets
Â
race 1Â Â Â average clarity
1 Simply Put  had multiple trouble in last and a dogged pace to try to close into...2 nice 5F drills has ready
3 Torrey Cliffs  earned a significant fig/effort 2 back that would handle these....both 1 mile efforts on the AW are also solid....Knapp could use a win
4 Lisa Lulu  improved animal since the blinkers were added 3 races back......closed on a suspect rail in latest and still won to break her maiden on her 23rd attempt
Â
race 2Â Â Â average clarity
4 Sea of Pleasure  speedball is very sharp in his morning preparation for this race....good shot to wire
1 Pack Your Bags  Bejarano will most likely save some ground from the 1 hole and be closing fast late
8 Unionize  very consistent sprinter on the AW or the grass......needs to avoid getting caught 3 wide...a slot my develop for jock to get over
3 Ifitwasntfor Texas  1st time Mitchell invader will need to avoid running with our top pick in the early stages or most likely will pay a price
NOTE: if no. 9 draws into the field he would be my 3rd choice
Â
race 3Â Â Â average clarity
9 Peanut Butter Boy  somewhat hidden move forward in last running on a suspect rail.....drills for today are the sharpest in some time....small but reliable barn
8 Pride Of Wilshire  4 solid 2nd place races when the blinkers were on......they remain on today
10 Truco  on the right end of the learning curve....cut back of 1 furlong looks like a big plus
4 Warren's Tommy Too  seems like a sprint prep to go long in his next out but a major factor if that evaluation is incorrect
Â
race 4Â Â Â average clarity
6 Enriched  loves today's mile distance......best chasing and that is the position Rosario has put him in in the past
5 Scenic Blast  career sprinter is bred to get the mile.....can be loose on the front
7 Bruce's Dream  hard to argue with 5 wins in 5 starts on "flat" turf courses
Â
race 5Â Â Â below average clarity
5 The Unusual One  turf fit and owns some solid early speed.....positive rider switch to Bejarano
7 Shu Biz Danny   showed life including decent early foot on MSW debut....sharp drills since....barn is fairly hot
8 Lone Justice  rested some and has responded with the best work tab from the Periban barn in quite some time
2 Crestatorre  both lifetime races are OK....1st time back with short rest...expecting a move forward today
Â
race 6Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
2 Where's The Remote  impressive 1st on the grass....repeat of that effort should make him 2 for 2 on the sod
5 Hughesy  solid last 2 races on the lawn and back to Bejarano
8 Concerto's Thunder  has really sharpened his form of late....good shot to get a nice mid pack position...positive rider switch to Gomez
1 El Pitucon  ARG invader is training well especially for a barn that doesn't push their animals too hard
Â
race 7Â Â Â average clarity
6 Hollywood Heist  checked hard on the run-up then showed plenty of life...excellent drills since....highly likely to improve today
7 Miles Long Gone  impressive 112 flat work to finish off a nice work regiment for this 1ster
8 Golden Bounty  training like all systems go for this K Walsh 1st timer
4 Bull Creek   training like another nice Baffert baby.......but......using 2 for 111 (2010 mounts) jock ?????? kid gets a bone...late rider switch ?
Â
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
10 The Usual Q. T.  better on the grass but good enough on the AW especially considering it looks like he can get a nice chase position behind what seemingly will be a slow to reasonable pace
4 Temple City  loose on the lead and will try to slow it down....very ratable sort is a big plus
6 Richard's Kid  will he ever get a race with pace in it....quick drills say he can show more early speed today
7 Hold Me Back  1 1/4 is a good fit and has a nice record on the AW......Mott ships x-country is a significant plus....excellent work series at Bel
Â
race 9Â Â Â average clarity
8 Magic Launch   should get a chase or mid pack position.....3/4 of his T T Today figs fit best in this spot
1 Thisoneforyou  earned a solid fig with a wide trip on the AW in latest....1st on the grass and bred fine for it...showed 2 turns is not a problem on the AW
9 Silver Heat  price shot out ran our top pick when you account for their trips in the last race for both of them...blinkers off....smooth trip from a difficult post and bombs away
13 Sandy Cheeks  has been racing well versus open company....positive rider switch can help overcome a difficult post
Â
race 10Â Â Â average clarity
8 Smiling Tiger   only one other speed horse to put away and he is on the difficult 1 post...game animal has a shot at his 2nd straight Grade 1 win
6 Crown Of Thorns  laid up but training as if 100 % ready to compete at the highest of levels
5 Leaving New York  broke badly and rushed and still managed to win....very very few overcome what he did....blistering drill sinceÂ
10 El Brujo  last was the 1st time in the Baffert barn tune-up to be ready to roll in today's top level sprint
Â
race 11Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
4 California Nectar  monster MSW debut in last....wins if he repeats it....demolishes the field if he moves forward
5 Zenidekka  best set of drills for a Drysdale 1st timer in many a moon...like the fact that this filly was just purchased in May...barn knows what they've got
6 Pleasing Sunrise   decent debut and a solid 3 work series since...forward move is likely
1 Warren's Flyer  trainer is usually much tougher with 2nd time starters and this horse had a fairly decent MSW debut
2 Lil Tahoma   Bonde runner is training up to snuff to be considered ready for her debut into the world of racing
