Handicappers Corner
Like last Wednesday a very lackluster card. Plenty of good racing anticipated for the weekend. Manage your money wisely.
Fairplex starts next week and for those of you who pass on this meet you might be passing on some solid betting opportunities if it is anywhere close to as lucrative as last year, our 1st year covering the "bullring". I used to crush the old Sportsman's Park meeting (also a bullring}in Chicago.  I have a very high degree of confidence handicapping Fairplex.
Â
Recommended pick 3 part wheel starts in the 1st
2,3,4,6,7,9 with 1,5,7 with 3,4,7Â Â Â Â Â 54 bets
Â
race 1Â Â Â below average clarity
3 Born To Waltz  hidden move forward in last....ran most of his race a a sluggish rail...decent chance to move forward 3rd out after the layoff
2 Magical Instinct  flashed decent speed in last but did it on a suspect rail so tired badly....off pace run 2 back fits fine
4 Action In Motion  decent forward move in 2nd lifetime run......blinks on....may show improved early speed in a race that lacks it
9 Big Revolution  over 25 months away from the track.....lone start would beat these but it's a tough call if he will come back anywhere near the same horse
Â
race 2Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
1 Ron Bob And Dave  decent fresh and he has a sharp series of drills that has "well meant" written all over it
7 Quick Enough  strong fig in last and Flores handles this gelding smartly....very consistent
5 Raetodandty  barn is hot and this 3year old gelding has been competitive in all 5 lifetime starts
Â
race 3Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
4 Backstreet Dancer  Sadler 1ster is training up to snuff and seemingly catches a soft group which is just what you want with a ready 1st timer
3 Tiz O' Gold  decent debut last and looking to move forward in 2nd lifetime start
7 Too Much Excitement  broke poorly and blocked in the stretch....still managed to finish nicely...good chance moves forward
9 Finish Rich In Nye  nasty check in the early stages in his mc debut last....new barn takes over
Â
race 4Â Â Â average clarity
2 Best affair  last looks like the turf gimme to leg up anddrop and go on the AW........barn has a solid history with such a maneuver...hot barn too
3 Quoted  also looks like a gimme/go situation....very sharp drill since especially for someone like O'Neill
8 Silver Squall  pace on a dull rail in last is a bad combination and that is what happened to this gelding off of his 1st race in 3 years
6 Cafe Con Leche  long layoff but owns some strong races for this level....trouble if he is ready in his return to the race wars
Â
race 5Â Â Â average clarity
3 Towser  consistent sort gets a major league jockey change
2 Purse Luva another very positive rider switch here as well......good shot to move forward 2nd after the layoff
9 Seeuat Sticknstein  back to a level where he fits...will need a clever ride from the outer-most 9 post
5 Days Of Lightning  consistently battles race after race...just needs a little more pop late when it counts
Â
race 6Â Â Â average clarity
5 Unusual Smoke  last was the gimme to drop and go....been facing quite a bit better...owns some powerhouse back figs on Top Turf Today
1 Runaway Bandido  both grass races which were run in the Spring are decent...should be all cranked up 2nd out after the layoff
8 Jack's Wild  likes today's turf distance......positive rider switch....exits a fast key heat in his last
7 North Fork  consistent sort on any surface will need a clever trip from the 7 post
Â
race 7Â Â Â average clarity
11 Perfect Curls  been winning by daylight in Stakes races at the fairs....Bejarano accepting the mount is reassuring this filly is for real
7 Faisca  on the right end of the learning curve....owns decent tactical speed
3 Miles Rules  exits a fast MSW heat with a winning maiden debut run.......training sharply since
10 Clubhouse Rules  still a maiden but her last effort/fig is par like for today's level.....believe will take back and try and etover to save some ground
Â
race 8Â Â Â below average clarity
6 Warren's Dove   solid speed in last off of the layoff...that race under his belt and 1/2 furlong less can make him prominent thru-out
8 Three Pointer   need debut race 2 races back and he will then be the one to beat.....last was somewhat of a clunker
1 Tsunami Warning  Bell 1ster sure is training as if ready to roll in his mc debut....must overcome a difficult post for a 1ster
2 Warren's Closer  exits a very fast heat...broke slow then ran evenly....only needs to move forward 3 or 4 lengths in his 2nd lifetime start to compete for the win
3 Trueno  long hiatus from the track but is training fairly well for his new barn
