Very excited about our potential for profits having the Oak Tree meeting at Hollywood.
Â

Â
race 1Â Â Â average clarity
6 Legal Separation  exits a fast affair for the level in latest where he broke a little slow and ran on a dull inside...solid hidden forward move
7 Really Uptown  last 2 races since undergoing the ultimate equipment change (gelded) are vastly improved
4 Mark Of a Warrior  last was only so so but back to Hollywood where he appeared to relish the racing surfaceÂ
Â
race 2Â Â Â average clarity
7 Harlan's Tune   was a little goofy on the 2nd turn in a 2 two sprint at Fpx in last......race 2 back on a 1 turn sprint would make him tough here
1 Stella Del Teatro  only sprint albeit on the turf fits well in this spot...blinkers on and sharp works
4 Wild Hombre  1st timer is training as if ready to roll.....only paid 3,500 last Jan for the horse so being put up for mc25K makes sense
Â
Â
race 3Â Â Â above average clarity
7 Don Tito   crushing foes at Crc....barn is stellar 1st time out with new proven animals...works are very strong at Hol
2 Spaniard  nasty pace in latest and still almost won it...speed of the speed will wire if allowed a more reasonable pace today
3 Our Shorty  hard trying sort has been competitive in all 5 lifetime races...learned to rate in last and that would come in handy here
Â
race 4Â Â Â average clarity
8 Quoted  last 3 races all fit well here...owns speed in a race that lacks it
6 Self Insured  last wasn't bad but what we want to see his his effort 2 races back
2 Bad Boy  recent efforts fit well but this closer breaking from a difficult breaking post may be badly compromised by a lack of pace in the race
4 Seven Point One  recent work at Hol and past races at Hol suggest we may see a rebound with this gelding....has some speed in a race missing it
Â
race 5Â Â Â average clarity
4 Teenage Dancer  10 to 1 in last which was off a long layoff suggests this filly wasn't totallywound up and still competed well....should be today
3 Finish Rich In Nyc  chased on a suspect inside and did it chasing solid pace....should be on or near the lead from the get go
6 Golden Nip  over 50 to 1 in open company MSW debut last suggests that was the tune-up to go go go today versus Cal-breds
5 Giveme Onereason  owns some decent back numbers and recent strong work-outs hint that we may see a rebound to that level today
Â
race 6Â Â Â average clarity
2 Call Me Honcho  earned a significant fig on Top Turf Today 2 races back with a bad trip....1 1/8 miles looks like a good fit
7 Cee's Pryme  done little wrong in winning both lifetimes races on the AW.....pedigree for the turf is good
1 Oak Kye Why  3 solid efforts in 3 lifetime races.....coped with stout pace on the grass in his last and still managed to hang on for the win....works are better than ever since
4 Big Shot Syd  very strong grass races run as a 2 year old....long hiatus from the track but has the kind of prolonged work tab you want to see for a long time laid up racehorse
Â
race 7Â Â Â below average clarity
3 Rachels Moon  tough journey in his layoff run last......Bejarano sticks around and will be out to make amends with this gelding who should benefit from that layoff run under his belt
7 Boychik  debut (4th by 7) wasn't too shabby considering this gelding broke poorly and ran a little wide versus a nice MSW group
2 Chapman's Peak  exits a very slow MSW heat but it was only his 1st start of his career and he didn't get the best of trips...continues to drill like a runner
5 Resplendently  blinkers on and training like a rebound may occur to his MSW form
Â
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
3 Unzip Me  last 8 consecutive races say that she is the one to beat here....also.....handles high weight well
1 Alpha Kitten  very consistent filly has drawn a good post in this 6 furlong turf affair....1st ever on the sod but bred to handle it
6 Dotsy Jean  seemingly best with approximately 6 weeks between races and gets it.....loves the Hollywood grass course....5 for 7 in the win column
5 Bonifacio   consistent sort put in an impressive stretch run to score at 20 to 1 in last....looks best if taken back off of the pace and I believe the barn is thinking the same
Â
race 9Â Â Â average clarity
2 Tribal Witch   powerful effort / fig in last and comes right back at the same level
4 Salty Sarah  good work series and takes a significant drop off of the layoff......barn appears to mean business and why not.....filly hasn't won for 2 years
5 Dancing Lauren  deep closer has fingers crossed hoping for some fast early fractions
9 Entabeni  failed at 4 to 5 in latest with our top pick being more impressive in the same race.....does own some very dangerous back numbers
10 Lisa Lulu  deep closer will need some pace up front to put in her late run
