Oak Tree @ Hollywood for Sunday 24 Oct 2010

There sure must have been more rain then my sources suggested because they continue to yank the races off of the sod ????????

Maybe doing selections for the Breeders Cup for both days in the form of an audio email each day from Top Turf Today which has the ability to send audios. I will discuss each race and give info on each animal I think has a shot. It will cost about $40 for both days and will have a spot to pay the piper on this website. Please shoot me an email asap to let me know if you are interested. Obviously the number of interested folks will be the key to doing it or not.

race 1    average clarity

6  Sammy Choi   hot barn and rider combo.....bad trip in last.....4 lifetime races and 4 solid efforts

2  He Is   no. 2 and 4 are very fast but the 2 is capable of chasing so he gets the nod over our 3rd selection

4  The Phenom   very quick early and seems to be the most likely leader

race 2    average clarity

4  Squeeze Me Tight   very consistent sort gets a very positive rider switch....may 4 picks here are all very close....split them by hairs

8  Victory Dash   last 3 sprints run are all solid for this level...reassuring drill suggests her form is intact

6  Rev Her Up   last race is better than it appears on paper......1 slow  out of the gate and 3 wide and zippo pace to close into...decent history at the distance

1,1a  Entry   entry has speed and a closer which seems like a good deal here

race 3   average clarity

5  Gone Rebel   best races are fresh and she is fresh and well prepared in the morning....significant rider switch upgrade as well

4  Pleasing Sunrise   there is lone speed and then there is the often ignored lone closer....only off pace proven runner here and a small field in front of him to help him avoid traffic trouble when she puts in her late run

race 4    average clarity  (picks OK  for the AW)

1  Covert Reward   solid prolonged tightly spaced work series...some of which he out ran his barn mate.....yesterday' night cap winner

8  Mr Artistic M D   Walsh 1ster is very impressive in the morning and would have been my top pick if she had drawn inside in this sprint turf race

6  Shelter Cove   useful debut on the AW and well bred to handle the sod

race 5    average clarity

6  Butch Marino   wide trip in last and still got up with a strong stretch run to win off of the layoff...good probability moves forward 2nd after the layoff

5  Small But Mighty  jockey upgrade and another who most likely will improve 2nd out after the layoff

3  Ultra Awesome   don't know about ultra awesome but sure is ultra consistent....should be in the hunt from the get go

race 6    average clarity (picks OK  for the AW)

4  Call The River   seems like a great spot for a 1st timer......training exceptionally well for a trainer like Gaines and she sent out a 1ster on the grass who ran big in mid July

5  Proud Illusion   showed a liking to the sod with a near miss 3rd at GG...training very aggressively for today's ship in race

3  Papa Lev   consistent sort has been hanging some so blinkers on sure seems like a good idea to me....focus when it counts

10  Anga   exits a fast heat at Fpx...showed he liked a route of ground.....well bred for the lawn.....price shot will need a clever trip from the outermost 10 post

race 7    slightly below average clarity

4  Mr. Monkey Jones   very consistent (in the money in all 10 starts at the distance)...hot trainer/rider combo

6  Sea Of Pleasure   been a very unlucky big early speed type forced into many nasty paces....sure looks loose here and.......may......go......all......the.....way

2  Proud Cardenal   decent return to the race wars in last and solid if he makes a logical move forward with that run under his belt

race 8    average clarity (off turf picks 7-2-5)

3  Patsy's Lil Buddy   last turf effort is solid....works say this filly is still sharp.....can sit close in a race that sure is void of speed

1  Hemera   very unlucky strong closing turf filly that keeps catching races that set up against her late kick...still might win in a slow paced race because she is very talented

7  Jet Blue Girl   solid speed here and very tough if she can manage to clear from her outer-most post

race 9     slightly above average clarity

3  Teenage Dancer   both 2010 races are better then par for today's level....positive rider switch

7  Primed   all 6 lifetime races fit in this spot....very nice works at Fpx suggest not to worry much about the drop down in claiming price

8  D' Elegance   overdo drop in last and it sure woke this filly up.......solid drill since...believe we will see lifetime best today

4  Smiling Z And I   1ster sure seems ready for a barn that could use a win....does have to face 3 solid proven runners so a clean trip might be a must

12  Storm'n Marisa   decent somewhat hidden figs at today's distance.....jockey will need a clever rider from his outside post
