Hollywood for Thursday 18 Nov 2010
Win or lose (well maybe a little more win) I sure get excited when one of our top selections has the potential to go off at a decent price as they did successfully last week and they might today. We seem to be in a time period where many horses have some hidden form.

Â
race 1Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
3 Brazzle Dazzle  fired a race 3 back with 40 days rest that would have a good shot at winning this affair....38 days off this time Â
4 Warren's Lover  sat too far off a ridiculously slow pace in last...a little heat up front and a small field to negotiate will make the horse and Bejarano dangerous
Â
race 2Â Â Â average clarity
6 Pegastorm  training very sharply before and after his disappointing layoff run in last....new jock and blinkers on.....may have needed last...Robbins hit big for us in lone start at the meet Sunday at 24 to 1 as our 2nd pick
8 Lovely Sophia  race 2 back on the AW fits fine here...also so does the bad trip fig earned on the sod in last
11 Long Legged Lovely  owns significant speed versus these.....Bejarano most likely will attempt to clear...get loose....and control the race up frontÂ
10 Image Of Super  has shown decent life in 2 lifetime one turn affairs....will need a very clever ride from a difficult post to start from for your 1st ever run long....but we do get Rosario in the saddle who is riding better than ever and that is saying something
Â
race 3Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
6 Shelter Cove  decent early speed......bred to handle the lawn.....and P Val up in a 5 furlong turf race.....good shot to get the jump on them from the get goÂ
3 T. K. Fortysix  useful debut last on the synthetic.....works are much improved going into his 2nd lifetime start....mom has tossed 3 turf winners
1, 1A Entry  double barrel action from Mandella....both the 1st timer and the 2nd timer have solid breeding for the sod
5 River's Mambo   2 decent lifetime efforts on the synthetic.....gives the grass a whirl with better than average breeding for it
Â
race 4Â Â Â average clarity
5 Thomas Baines  last run back in late August was impressive.......had about 4 or 5 lengths of trip trouble and he had to close into a very soft pace....laid up but very strong drills for a trainer like O'Neill
3 Indian Firewater  good shot to be the controlling pace in this affair...that's usually a very dangerous scenario for a Baffert horse
4 Our Minesweeper  very big return to the race wars at GG 4 weeks ago.....broke the 109 flat barrier.....solid drills since are reassuring
Â
race 5   slightly above average clarity
5 Ashee  all 4 races since Mullins claimed fit well here and most of them are better then they appear in print
1 Tamerin   this one has about an 80% shot to get loose on the lead and that is a dangerous thing of late in 6F sprints races on the grass
7 Entabeni  earned a very solid fig in last and remains sharp with a couple of reassuring works.....would have been top pick if there was more pace in the race
4 Our Road Scholar  decent chance to get a good chase or mid pack position.....maybe turning the corner form wise....impressive bullet drill at Fpx
Â
race 6Â Â Â average clarity
4 Sweethsouthernqueen  just claimed by a small barn that has had some solid recent success in S Cal......closer seemingly gets the needed pace up front....race 2 back is very solid
2 Sindyfromsantacruz  the fact that Mitchell put this filly up in class off of a poor effort suggest that layoff run was the gimme to drop big and go today
1 Saint Cindy  back to a reasonable claiming level for this late running filly.....decent chance she gets the aforementioned pace to run at
6 Twodollarstowin  handled the class rise in last and will try another....will need a bit more horse.....but trainer/rider are a hot combination
Â
race 7Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
3 I Can Hear  both 1 1/16 mile turf efforts are solid figs on Top Turf today....last race with short rest was a winning effort
8 Rainbow Luck  top Cal trainer takes over this sharp filly who is coming off 2 solid wins in the Midwest.....impressive 5F gate work just four days ago suggests this filly has taken a liking to her new surroundings
2 Kicken Off  +9  +4  +2 over par on T T Today says this filly is on the improve....good post.....rider knows this horse well.....good chance to get a ground saving mid-pack trip
1 Naughty Mariana  decent turf sprints.....should be able to save some ground with the 1 post on or near the lead...1st at a route is the question mark
Â
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
3 Pacific Coast  fairly solid pace in last run on a suspect inside.....turn back in distance should only help this speed type stay the distance
5 Knowhentoholdem  debut race run 2 efforts back fits well at today's lower level...also finally gets a decent post and an upgrade in riders
10 Lara Antipova  fairly decent drills for a 2 year old filly 1st timer at GG....really like the fact the broodmare has tossed 4 two year old winners from 4 starters
6Â Sean SÂ Â after 3 nice efforts this filly tossed a clunker in her last....but she has been freshen up with 3 improved works....my guess is rebound city today
7 Miss Lulu Justice  useful mc debut in last showing some early speed and a decent four furlong work since
