Very competitive but OK card today. Good Luck!
Â
race 1Â Â Â average clarity
5  Midnight Interlude  you can't be much hotter with 1st timers then Baff is right now and this won is training as if all systems are go once again...especially like the dirt works at Fpx
4 Tokubetsu  Baffert charge earned a decent number in lone lifetime start....also showed good early speedÂ
2 Hollywood Heist  multiple efforts that are better then they appear on paper...good work series and blinkers on....positive rider change to boot...can be prominent from the get go
7 Wild Native  solid series of drills for this 1ster from a more than capable barn from up north...trains as if he owns some early speed
Â
race 2Â Â Â average clarity
6 Winning Desire  won his last endeavor despite falling off figure wise...so...what I like is that the barn stopped on the horse and has trained him up to this 2 month layoff race....also...seemingly sets up for his late running style
1 Edgewick Road  is in good enough form and more importantly catches an affair that looks conducive to his late running profile
4 Leon Ayala  on the improve with every start and now we get a positive rider switch
Â
race 3Â Â Â average clarity
6 Dreamy Kid  massive improvement in 2nd lifetime race....bred to prefer a route a ground....Drysdale sure could use a win...so could ice cold Flores
4 Unex Dali  solid 1st in the U S A run on the grass.....surprising to see him show up in a dirt race with his classic turf pedigree...believe the good works over the dirt impressed his barn
1, 1a  ENTRY  both 1 and 1a are bred to handle a dirt route and have successful trainers
Â
race 4Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
6 Gladiatrix  showed good pace and ran on a dull rail at a higher level in career debut back in mid Oct....."dirt" drills look very good....all set to roll ....good chance to be prominent thru-out
3 River's Manbo  all 3 AW races in MSW affairs are solid figs for today's level....overdo drop from a trainer who could use a win to jump start his quiet barn
2Â Tuesdays With PÂ Â 1st time Baffert and training as if his new trainer has improved her off of an extended layoff
8 Benecia  lone race on conventional dirt was clearly his best career race.....trainer has been heating up of late
Â
race 5Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
6 Poetic Riches  love the learning curve this filly in her running lines.....high probability she will move forward 2nd out after the layoff unless she dislikes the new SA surface
2 Ultra Awesome  drops off a leg me up turf race and makes a significant rider change
8 Cato Major  just claimed by a trainer who wins at a 33 % clip 1st out after the claim....seemingly in very good form and 1 for 1 on conventional dirt
7 Terrify  looks rather shelled out but has run monster efforts in her only 2 runs on the dirt...so lookout if there is one more race left in her
Â
race 6Â Â Â average clarity
6 Thomas Baines  last was the tune-up for today's drop into claiming...easily owns the best average fig on the sod in this field
2 Cardiff Agent   dueled in unsustainable fractions in last which was his 1st turf run...better off the pace.....very competitivesort...bred to love the sod...Sutherland is a good grass rider
4  Mr Toyko  proven on the SA hill course.....Nakatani gets the most out of this colt...recent reassuring drill
3 Fandino  good awakening in last......consistent in turf sprints including the SA hill turf course
Â
race 7Â Â Â average clarity
6 Red Door Drive   loves today's distance and excels in the chase/stalk position....and can get it....and conditioned by the white hot Baffert too boot
1 Aggie Engineer  good history when Talamo rides....to the front he'll go and try and take them wire to wire once again
5 Spurrier  very impressive close into a lack of any pace up front in his latest......and he also had a wide journey to get there
Â
race 8Â Â Â average clarity
6 Miguel's Mascot  multiple grass races that are better then they appear on paper......solid recent drill....owns tactical speed and it could come in handy here in a race that seemingly sets for those close up
5 Control Seeker  dropping some....gets a new trainer. ...and Gomez is up....should be a factor from the get go in a race lacking pacesetters
7 Sammartino  not only runs well fresh off the bench but seems to show his top early speed when fresh...and P Val is up who sure can hold a front runner together
2 Circa'sgoldengear  can sit close which should be a good thing here....needs only a couple of lengths of improvement to compete at today's higher level
Â
race 9Â Â Â average clarity
4 Harborton  race lacks speed...invader puts the blinkers on and training lack it has improved his early foot...shot to be prominent from the get go
7 Whiskers And Rye  wide trip in debut back in Sept or could have been a factor.....training as she is all set to roll off of the layoff...Bejarano accepting mount supports this conclusion
5 Mcduffie  owns some speed and just worked a solid 5/8ths on the SA surface hinting that a forward move is imminent
1 La Talia  50 to 1 shot in the morning line lost about 9 lengths with a green trip in mc debut and only got beat 7....rider change would be nice but I doubt that is going to happen
10 Mysterious Cargo  runs like she hates the AW...1 of the 2 races on the dirt is decent......training sharply on the SA surface and Palma is sending out almost everything fit and ready to compete
