2011 Breeders Cup selections can now be purchased for $24.95 which covers both days. The sooner you make payment the better as it will help things out if there are any late technical problems. The format will be the same as our California selections but we will give more horses per race than what we do on our regular daily format.

3 Frenemy  impressive MSW debut 3 weeks ago and a reassuring 4F work since.......owns solid early speed and speed has been a good commodity to have the last few weeks in routes or sprints on the dirt
4 Basmati  obviously faced better in last couple and ran creditably....positive rider switch back to Gomez who I believe will be willing to chase our top pick and challenge him in the late stages of the race
1 Only The Gold  21 to 1 in MSW debut suggests the race was needed and it was a solid run considering the horse was most likely not as tight as he could have been.....fit and ready today and extremely well bred to get a route of ground....Mandella is much better with 2nd timers

5 Miss Silver Brook  great chance to get a distant chase position behind our 3rd choice....good position to be in in a 7 furlong race
1 Came West  same opportunity to chase the leader here......mare has solid history conventional dirt/sprints
3 Pincelada   seven furlongs doesn't look like the best distance for this filly but she looks loose here and very dangerous if Talamo can cut some soft early fractions

6 Polly's Dancer  Pender is hot and he is very good 2nd time out after a claim.......very positive rider switch.....Pedroza/Pender have won their last 5 out of 10 starts as team over the last couple of months
1 Mentidoso  last was very impressive making a powerful turn move in solid time...that was way back in July and he was claimed that day.....laid up for new conditioner Carava but the drills suggest she is ready.....closer seemly gets pace up front
2 Best Logic  cut back in distance should help.....cut out solid fractions in latest and tired trying to get a mile.....is ratable....always a plus
race 4Â Â Â slightly above average clarity
2 Small But Mighty  been on a roll since Mitchell claimed.......last was a very fast heat of bottom level claimers....deservedly steps up more than 50% in claiming price...should handle the price rise
7 Dave's Revenge  decent efforts in one turn dirt affairs.....should be motoring late
3 Angel Of Mystery  highly consistent sort just got snatched at the claiming box and gets a positive rider change....should be a major factor again
1 Indiara  very bad clip of heels in last or would have been competing for the top prize.....Bonde is solid 2nd out after the claim
race 5Â Â Â slightly below average clarity
7 C R Lovely Lady   showed life in debut sprinting......ran too wide in next at a route....jockey upgrade and 1/16 less to run should put this filly in the hunt for the win
1 Warren's Hopeful  Van Berg charge is 6 0 3 1 on conventional dirt......race 2 back a two turn 7 furlong affair at Fpx is solid here
4 Jolly Green Bean  only route effort wasn't too bad ........decent shot to get the front end of things with a decent speed jock up
8 Pat's Dream  another individual who can possibly sit near the front with a good speed rider on her back.....this is stretching things but her effort/fig 5 races back would handle these
race 6Â Â Â average clarity
7 Bryan Daniel good history on the SA dirt......good pace and OK final time in last.....well placed to win dropping to 12,000nw2 after breaking mdn for 20K...decent shot to get loose here
9 Game A. P.  logical drop to earn his way will help.....should be able to finish decently at 7F when many in here will be tiring
10 Absolute Courage  hasn't run since July but needs to be ready because this gelding only has 1 or 2 races in him before he needs to be laid up on the farm
5 Looking For Candy  turf tightener in last and now back where belongs.......jock could use a win or at least a good smart ride

4 Matlow  strong return to the race wars in last both pace and final time wise....good drill since suggests a repeat performance can occur...on or near the lead from the opening bell
3 Killer Bear  race 2 back is very strong.....positive rider change to Quinonez who fits this and most closers well
7 Coo Cachoo  speed horse will try and shake our top pick and go wire to wire....not much chasing so full throttle from the start
1 Red Ace  lone victory was by 6 1/2 lengths and it came in 2nd lifetime start at the FG.....2nd out after the layoff seems like a good thing

2 St. Valentine  horrid trip in last hides a forward move in form/ability........positive rider switch to P Val who had a nice day yesterday
3 Make Us Proud  last was the 42 to 1 gimme to tighten the muscles up.....change jocks for the better....and.....go go go go....and make all involved proud
6 Personalitary  showed vastly improved route speed in last so much so this gelding might find himself on the front end of things in this sprint affair
12 Salty Robin  on the right end of the learning curve......ran wide in last....jock will need to be more clever from the 12 post today
7 Corn Maze  takes that ever dangerous drop out of MSW to the bottom mc level...trainer could use a boost
11 Oneinamillionyou  exits a fast 4F heat at Fpx with not the best of trips.......good wake up.......can contend if he builds on the effort
