Hollywood for Sunday 20 May 2012

Race 1: Average Clarity

1 Senor Rain - obviously something went wrong in his lone turf try, pedigree says try it again
5 Put It There - ok turf breeding but appears to be the speed of the speed
4 Norm's Passion - Bonde generally not good off a layoff, works are strong however and the grass breeding is excellent

Race 2: Slightly Below Average Clarity

4 Jerry'shoneycarol - like the works best on this one of all the new shooters, trainer excels in this condition
7 Awesome Annie - clearly the one to beat off a solid debut
2 Leona Pegasus - Smith's only scheduled mount of the day and it's for a capable but small outfit, hmm
6 Tilde - the Harrington/Raffy combo has been hard to beat over the last 2 years

Race 3: Average Clarity

2 Running Isabella - strong race against the bias in comebacker, expect more 2nd out, wire job
1 Mama Janka - both BHP races are way better than they appear, major jock upgrade, upset special
6 Warren's Goldie - lone win came at this trip here with Raffy, most likely to pick up the pieces if the speed fails

Race 4: Above Average Clarity

4 Me Salty - had no chance in lone turf effort because of lack of speed, has found speed
3 Aqua Fever - rock solid consistent on Top Turf Today, should appreciate cutback 3rd in cycle
1 Street Car - come and get me

Race 5: Way Below Average Clarity

6 Pardon My Excess - like the works and fact Garcia is riding this firster in an extremely weak field
2 Comical Kitty - 5 trouble lengths in debut and improved works since
5 Kherington Ann - Solis much better 2nd out and goes to one of his main boys
9 Miracle Merger - big work, some speed and cutback give chance

Race 6: Slightly Above Average Clarity

6 Byrony - working lights out for her NA debut, has eurospeed and that will be a big advantage in this field
2 Triveni - nice improvement between his 2 NA turf starts, should get a good rail trip
3 Romantic Wish - solid Top Turf Today sprint figs but might be gasping for air that last 1/16

Race 7: Slightly Below Average Clarity

11 Hammer the Bay - wide with strong pace in debut, working well for return, wire job
4 Silent Bidder - love the 7F workouts for this firster
5 Guidopanzini - Miller/Gomez have been a dynamite tandem and this MSW dropper looks ready off the layoff
1 St. Sincere - odd that they started him on the turf, another working well for a comeback

Race 8: Above Average Clarity

1 Halo Dolly - 3rd in cycle, big figs, can lead or chase, tough
4 Camille C - VERY interesting that Raffy lands here, no turf wins but figs that fit
5 Sugarinthemorning - distance is only ?

Race 9: Average Clarity

6 Belo Purse - no pace in last, proven at the distance
9 Devils Afleet - 2nd start in the Diodoro barn, one for one at the trip and a strong recent work
4 Polly's Dancer - speed of the speed
5 Lime Rock Revenge - distance a ? Even with the drop to the basement
12 Giant Steps
1 Rummysecret War
