The Belmont Stakes and a possible triple crown winner is 8 days away! The betting pools at Belmont have a chance to be record setting.

Average racing card at best this evening.

Best of luck as always!

race 1    average clarity

3  River Kiss   4 of 6 lifetime races are very strong in this spot and a couple of them are hidden with not the best of trips

5  Warren's Internet    solid move forward in 2nd lifetime race......will need another if our top pick brings her "A game"

1  You Can Dream   form fell off in latest quite a bit.....needs a rebound to her effort 2 back to have any chance here

race 2    average clarity

1  Miss Reditore   has never run a bad race when runs back in 5 weeks or less.....4 1/2 weeks off here.....and is coming off lifetime best run at today's same turf distance of 6 furlongs

2  Melissa Rose   seemingly in very good form right now......only turf race is nothing to write home about.....but I have to rely of Sadler's sound judgement here as he wants grass for this filly despite her strong run on the Hol synthetic in her last

3  All On The Table   very consistent sort for Powell on any surface and now we get a positive rider change

race 3    slightly below average clarity

8  E's Gold   stout conditioner has 2 wins and 1 2nd from 3 starts at the Hollywood meeting and has a strong history over the last few years when teaming up with jockey Hunt over the years.......horse exits an extremely fast heat for a bottom level mdn claimer.....that effort fits and more in 2nd lifetime race seemingly would be mighty tough to overcome versus this lackluster bunch

7  Mahogany Ridge   1st timer is working well enough to be a factor in this soft group

6  Sacred Ghost   good looking work tab at Slr for this laid up Dunham runner......owns 1 of 8 lifetime race that is par like for this mdn20K level

2  It's Time To Go   yet to show much in 2 starts in the afternoon but has always trained like he can run some in the afternoon

race 4    average clarity

4  American Lady   likes the Hollywood surface and sure is working like she is glad to be back on it's synthetic racing surface........and Baffert is hot hot hot

5  Spectacular Sky   seemingly fits fine in this field and has been involved chasing two straight very fast half mile splits and rightfully tired a little in the late stages

2  Pink Lollipops   solid last 4 of 5 races including her 1st ever on the Hol AW in her latest.......and Mr. 43% Baffert trains

race 5    slighly above average clarity

1  K Js Maddog   nice wake up for this gelding in 1st lifetime grass race in latest which was run at Tup........1st time in the Mullins barn ( especially on the grass) is a very dangerous thing the last 3 or 4 months

3  Quail Hill   smartly back to the grass where 2 races back this colt fired a strong effort/fig for today's nw2 25K level.......very likely to be on or near the lead saving ground from the get go

7  Warrens Wild Thing   seemingly never better but owns a strong tendency to hang in the stretch

6  All The Victors   handles the grass well but will need very best or poor efforts by our top 2 picks to make it to the circle of joy tonight

race 6    average clarity

8  Kuro   difficult post at the abbreviated sprint distance of 5F but this laid up gelding is training like an alw runner not an 8K claimer

4  Classical Slew   good speed in this spot in an affair lacking speed especially for a 5 furlong sprint

7  Dave's Pacemaker   loves abbreviated sprint races but has a sketchy work pattern and was a vet scratch on 6 May......toss a coin as far as his health is concerned

3  The Whammer   back to his favorite racing surface......decent shot to be in the hunt from the get go and that is usually a good thing in 5F sprint races

race 7    slightly below average clarity

3  Old Time Hockey  Proctor is one tough turf conditioner........and this gelding just keeps getting better........and better.......and better......and better,,,,,,,,and......

4  Shaun Washington   best races are running from off of it a little........believe that will be the strategy today with 1st time Bejarano

6  Press Baron   big win in 2nd lifetime race last Fall in GB.......so 2nd out after the layoff was probably the plan all along for trainer Gallagher.......we shall see

race 8    slightly above average clarity

5  Iron Joe T   poor race in last.....reassuring work since.....trainer is heating up.......likely to rebound tonight.....race lacks speed and he has some.....good speed rider up

8  Above Par   showed plenty of life in 2 lifetime starts in New York..........laid up since last summer but training well enough to be ready and if he is he won't be above par for today's bottom level maiden claimer

2  Devgru   good works for this mc 1ster and the trainer has snapped out of the doldrums this meet.........and he has a good history with maiden claiming first timers

7  Minister Of Trade   another 1st timer training well enough to be ready for his lifetime debut into the wonderful world of thoroughbred racing.........but in this case the trainer has a poor history 1st time out of the box with a runner

1  Clocker Moment    hangs and figures are a bit short of par.......probably running for a slice of the pie only

3  Change Order     doubt a winner......smaller slice of the pie more likely
