Best of luck as always!

race 1    slightly above average clarity

2  Ten Tequilas    ran wide after breaking badly in a maiden debut effort where getting beat by 7 lengths was impressive.........improved 5F work since..........nice shot here if the connections smooth the kinks out

1  Kingsbury   Tom Proctor 2nd time starter exits a key MSW affair run back in Nov. and now drops to maiden 30K........beaten 9 lengths in mc debut but the fig/effort is par like for today's lower regiment suggests he is ready fresh

4  Silk Indian   doesn't seem capable of lasting when setting a decent pace but this Yakteen 3 year old sure looks loose and if T C Baze is able to slow him down to a crawl in the early stages he might be a dangerous gate to wire possibility

race 2    average clarity

2  Fiesta Express   seems the most likely runner in the field to get a good trip (on or near the front end with a ground saving journey) and owns numbers/efforts that fit.......back to Pedroza who has ridden this Emily Mode entry nicely in the past

1  Warren's Goldie   keeps dropping levels of racing and losing........takes a big plunge today where she should fit providing her health is good enough to compete at this lowest of levels.......trainer is quietly having a very good meeting

3  Negra Tomasa   1 for 2 at today's 1 1/16th distance.......didn't fire in last on a significant drop down to the 8K level........dangerous if rebounds to some prior efforts.......not and easy call if that with occur today

race 3    average clarity

NOTE:   12  English Rhythm has a shot at the winners circle if she draws into the field from the AE list

7  Thermal Nermal   faced better in last two races both of which were distance grass affairs and didn't embarrass herself......cut back from a turf route to a race on the SA hill turf course is usually a good maneuver

6  So She Dances   efforts/figures in last two races on the Santa Anita hill turf course fit well in this spot and her last is somewhat disguised by a trip where she broke slow and ran a little too wide......Bejarano will be out to make amends

3  Toluca   decent run in last especially considering it was her 1st endeavor down the majestic SA hill turf course.......good work tab for Mullins since........and the trainer appears to be waking up to some degree

10 Fadeintoinfinity

race 4    average clarity

3  Cherry on the Cake     caught 3 wide close to pace and faded late to be beaten by 4 in a decent maiden debut.......claimed by a higher percentage trainer in Hollendorfer and be puts the meets leading rider up for a significant jock for past 8 weeks put the drills say ready

5  Barroom Babe   first time starters trained by Jay Robbins usually aren't much to be concerned about......but.......this 5 year old mare is making her debut at the bottom maiden claiming level and she is training very impressively considering the level........and why wait......she's has tossed 5 winners from 5 starters one of which was a Stakes winner

4  My Coastie   1st timer is working well enough to be ready for a bottom level maiden claimer......trainer has 4 wins and 4 2nd's in 12 starts at the meet.....and trainer/rider have won 2 of last 3 as a team.......trainer Dollase has been sending his maiden claiming 1sters mostly ready to roll over the past 1/2 year or so

6  Fabulous Fashion

race 5    average clarity

4  Swingaway   solid move forward (better than par) in 2nd lifetime race for this Kruljac turf his layoff last appears to be nothing more than a tightener for this afternoon.........1st ever at a route but sure bred awfully well to appreciate one

1  Farayya    came up a little short in the late stretch in her MSW debut last after chasing and challenging for the win.......should have more endurance for today......a nice set of 3 drills since her last........and a better post to start from for a 1 mile grass affair

2  Belonging   should be able to get a nice ground saving mid pack position on the 1st turn in this full field and make her move by turn two or the stretch with a stout late closing grass jock in Garrett Gomez up.......and Gomez knows this filly well having ridden her in 3 of 4 lifetime starts

9  Readyforherclosep

race 6    slightly above average clarity

2  Church Avenue    trainer/rider combo over the last couple of months have been unbelievably hot.......combine that with the significant energy/effort displayed by this 7 year old mare in 4 of her last 5.......and you have a top pick

4  Tornado Allie    ran a very solid effort turf mile to 6 1/2F on the conventional dirt at Fairplex........turf mile in last........6 1/2F on the dirt today.........earned a nice adjusted for trouble fig on the sod in last......that effort fits here well if she can duplicate it on the dirt today

5  Secret Genius   best on conventional dirt and appreciates the 6 1/2 furlong sprint distance.......impressive close in the stretch into a very dull pace that was set by the front runners in her latest

6  Zees Chris

race 7    average clarity

6  Examen   impressive 1 1/8th grass race win in last his 2nd lifetime start which was run off of a 7 month hiatus from the track.........3 year old was wide and close to the pace and still found the winners circle.......repeat of last with a better trip and he should be tough here and if he moves forward he should still be stout even with a bit of a trip trouble

3  One Firm Cat   ignore the final time/figure in last......pedestrian 49:3 at the half in a mile firm turf race made it impossible to produce a decent final time........previous turf mile 3 races back fits at today's level.........recent drills are improved

2  Rafale   tough call but if this GB invader's layoff last was nothing but a tune-up then lookout today 2nd out after the layoff for this Mike Mitchell import

4  I'm Not Gray

race 8    slightly above average clarity

4  Seeking The Sherif   faced significantly better in his lone lifetime race which was versus a solid group of MSW runners......and he is training for Gary Mandella is if the conditioner is all business in his return to the race wars

3  Just Because     claimed for mdn40 and drops to mdn20.........alarming ?.......not so much when the trainer has won 2/3rds of his last dozen runners dropping after a are strong as well

2  Warren's Wesley   trainer has had a nice SA meeting so far........laid up 4 year old is working like he is ready to roll fresh......and draws Bejarano who rode him to a solid 2nd when last seen on March 10th, 2012

8  Run Charlie Run

6  Joe Hardoon
