race 1 Â Â average clarity
3  Shy Rosa   seems likely to find a good position in the race on or near the lead........seems reasonably placed to win at 10K following a nw3 16K win
1  J and S Express  consistent sort for sure........would have considered for top spot if the trainer and rider were not so cold as a team.......0 for 14 with only 1 hitting the board over the last 60 days
6  Smil'n From Above  might be on the rebound......likes to hang come crunch time
race 2 Â Â average clarity
1  Hero Ten All  solid wake up 1st on the grass in latest.......moved forward in 2nd lifetime start so 2nd out following a break seems like a good proposition.....nices work tab with the dogs up on the turf......sleeping giant Mullins shows signs of awakening from the doldrums
5  Bolo  fits a ton if he is right but 2 dull works since the Ky Derby........and why is he racing in an alw affair.....might be a tune-up.....might not be
4  Sky Preacher  O'Neill's colt has done little wrong in 3 lifetime route grass races (3 2 1 0)......should be a major player
race 3 Â Â below average clarity
4  Swiss Affair  Harrington sure seems overdue for a good 1st starter and this filly is working at LA as if she is one if she can run as well on the SA surface
7  I'm a Drama Mama  filly finished off her work regiment with two consecutive works longer than today's distance.....should finish up well for Miyadi who has been decent this year in S Cal with 1ster'sÂ
6  Baby Bea Scattin  decently bred for a Cal bred filly 1st timer.......work tab is up to snuff.....mom has tossed 3 winner from 4 starters including a Stakes winner
3  Ma'moisele Speaker  1st timer has some hints of early speed in the a.m......trainer is having a good meeting
Long-shot consideration:  1  Some Caan Job  eased in the slop following a bad start......showed hints of speed in works.......deserves another shot on a fast surface in 2nd lifetime start.......might live up to her nameÂ
race 4 Â Â average clarity
3  Sambamzajammin  solid MSW debut and a sizzling 3F work since....solid shot to go gate to wire with a race under her belt for new conditioner John Brocklebank
2  She Sings Along  mom has tossed 3 winners from 3 starters and all were precocious winning at two........finished up work tab with 2 nice gate works....MSW debut filly seems meant and ready
6  Ride the Shark  new sire is off to a good beginning.......and mom has tossed 2 winners from 2 starters one of which was a Stakes winner....decent works at LAÂ
1  Spark Plug Katie  weak pedigree as Giacomo has been disappointing as a sire.......but .......training well enough to be considered in today's MSW debut
race 5 Â average clarity
9  Ya Ya Girl   only run on the SA hill grass course was solid.........and today we get a rider upgrade........might have ample endurance off of the sprint - route - sprint scenario
4  Katy Drama  both lifetime endeavors on the SA hill are decent.....only needs a length or 2 improvement to be in the league of our top pick.....right trainer in charge to get it out of her
1  Pass the Memories  laid up since 3 Sept but working like she's ready as she was in her debut.......strong wide turn move in MSW debut.....bred for the sod.....danger city
7  Arewehavingfunyet   decent grass pedigree for this Baltas 1st timer.......works are decent....trainer has slowly become a "force" in S Cal racing
Long-shot consideration:  8  Barbs Angel  race 2 back is much better than appears in print......way too wide near a nasty pace......1st grass but bred for it.......usually returning back in 5 days rest is a bad proposition but not necessarily when Abrams is the trainer
race 6 Â Â average clarity
3  Quick Navigator  strong grass route in last and might prefer dirt......low percentage trainer overall but not turf to dirt......might run lifetime best 1st time two turns on the dirt today
2  Warrens Goldnugget  strong winning race turf to dirt 2nd out after the layoff in a race run on 19 Dec.......layoff turf race on 1 May.....dirt today..........trainer has had a good year and with a positive R.O.I.
6  Del Mar Dixie  on the improve......should finish up well when many in here will be flattening out
1  Kristinite   trainer is quite successful turf to dirt.....(3 1 2 0) last 3X up for a tag......up for one today
race 7 Â Â average clarity
4  Soreseca  just snatched by one of the hottest guys in town and he puts in two works only 5 days apart.....seems wound up and ready to improve 1st time following the D'Amato claimÂ
6  Jade With Envy  won at this level as favorite last out.....claimed but didn't vet out so the claim was voided.......worked a bullet since the win and most significantly she "vets out" in the eyes of Bejarano and his agent.....will be interesting to see if she fires again and gets claimed
7  Prevaricator  solid 1st ever on the sod in latest both in pace and final time....repeat of last has a chance.......the one to beat if she builds on the effort
8  Chokecherymary   nice rebound in latest and might be best at today's 1 1/8th distance (2 1 10) ........trainer is ice cold.....might jump start things here
race 8 Â Â average clarity
2  Shallot  why not drop precipitously to win......connections have a barn-full for runners.....rather sure she is healthy and if she is she will be tough
8  Travel Free  laid up since summer but working like she is returning better than ever......tough post but she might have enough early gas to overcome the outside post at 5F
1  Time for Action   nowheresville in 2 lifetime starts but last summer....plenty of time off to possible be a different filly now at three......aggressive impressive work regiment hints that she is
7  Lizzy Marini  bad trip in mc debut......might show good speed today if breaks better........needs a small logical move forward and a better trip to be a factor today
