OK card to start the new week of racing at SA. Let's call it a 6.5 on the 1 to 10 scale.

race 1 Â Â average clarity
1  Micks Miracle  very powerful MSW debut last December......that effort would take this race provided he returns as the same monster he was last winter.......work tab - trainer - say that he will
3  Stringent  deep closing run in winning MSW debut was impressive........bullet best of 85 5th's drill just 4 days ago.......believe even better will be put forth in start number 2
4  K Thirty Eight  Cal-bred has crushed his foes in both 2015 races........might be dangerous in open company today because he looks as if he might get loose and lonely on the front end
race 2 Â Â average clarity
6  Silver Mojave  nice effort down the hill in latest especially considering the layoff.........continues to train well.......forward move seems likely 2nd out following the 9 month hiatus from racing
7  Q Viva  5 2nd's in 6 races down the SA hill.....including her last 4.........meets leading jock stays aboard for the 5th straight time....... that makes her a little more dangerous to win than your typical hanger
1  Clem Juice  last two races fit when you adjust for any trouble......same jock aboard today (poor statistically on the sod) who needs to give a better ride
3  Cindys Secret  might get loose and with a solid grass rider in control........almost always a dangerous scenario with the rail out 30 feet
race 3 Â Â average clarity
8  Arviat Bay  1st timer finished up with 4 consecutive drills 1/2 furlong longer than today's race distance......and she has worked from the gate 4X........should be quite fit and ready........trainer is on fire.....and might add to his 34% win percentage here
1  Acute Fever  Glatt 1st timer consistently acts as if she owns some good early speed.........and the crafty trainer is decent with mc 1sters
6  Rich Girl  flashed a little speed in MSW debut and tired.......monumental rider switch considering this is a two year old race.......and of course a drop into maiden claiming........danger city
7  Grape Fizz  so so work times but numerous......and........ a dangerous rider/trainer combo....1ster might be readyÂ
race 4 Â Â below average clarity Â
(AE's:  9 Blind Dreams  &  10 Ameliatheaviator have a shot if either gets into the field)
8  Carrick Bay  tepid top selection has the best route turf credentials by my book and retains the meetings top gun in Bejarano
1  Birthday Song  sprint - sprint - route scenario.......1st at a route and seems bred to prefer a route over a sprint.......dangerous rider/trainer combo with price shots
4  An Unusual Group  needs a rebound and she would fit fine if she provides one......tough call if she will or not
7  Asparagus  last couple efforts to finish off 2014 fit OK.......is she up to similar off of the 10 month layoff?......mabye......decent work regiment
race 5 Â average clarity Â
(AE  9  He's the Problem   has a shot if he draws into the field)
5  Star Express  good MSW debut.....fell off some in next but it was on an off track.....sharp bullet drill since....might be poised for lifetime best today
8  Schillairess  trainer is off to a good start in his new career and mostly with babies.......two year was just bought in May so the connections pretty much new what they were getting.........very solid 4F gate work just a week ago.....seems ready at 1st asking
7  Frac Candy  decent work tab for this 1st time starter and a dangerous brother trainer/rider team at the helm......K Desormeaux isn't very dangerous with MSW 1sters but he is with mc 1sters
1  Awesome Auggie  showing signs that this Harrington 1st timer has some early gas......if he does Pedroza is a plus especially breaking out of the one hole
race 6 Â Â average clarity
7  Rattataptap  two of four lifetime sprints on main track surfaces fit......1st on the grass but bred OK for it and working stoutly for her 1st on the grass and for a trainer who sure gets it done on the sod in Philip D'Amato
4  Baruta  best speed in this field and with the rails out 30 ft............dangerous front end runner for sure
3  Kool Kat  needs to find last Fall's form down the hill........freshened up and lands M Smith......might be feeling better
6  Meeting Waters  trainer is good 3rd out after layoffs.......that is the case here........might be up to her GB form which she has yet to show in two endeavors in the good old U S of A
race 7 Â Â average clarity
5  Macho Sox   both lifetime races at one mile on a fast track (albeit at Lrc) are solid here.......he has been racing over his head for a prolonged period......but..... not today
4  Bipartisan  two useful races considering they came off a long layoff........leading trainer R Baltas drops.......and you know he would love to get the training title at Santa Anita
6  Fonz   last race fits here and is hidden.....rank early and wide.....claimed by Periban and he got his new shooter to work a sub 1:12 bullet since.......not out of this by any meansÂ
2  Finallygotabentley  (connections are considering new name to Finallygotafiat) last at today's level fits.......but.......might need more here as this appears to be a better than average group of 16nw3 claimers
race 8 Â Â average clarityÂ
1  Princess Ashlyn  apprentice opened up a ridiculous 14 length lead at today's turf distance in last.....see you bug boy who like so many bug boys is bad news on the grass.....hello Kent Desormeaux.....very dangerous speed
2  Charming Starlet  sprint - sprint - route scenario here seems more dangerous than normal because this filly is better at a route.....good sign meets leading jock retains the mount
9 AE   Big Move  tough post if draws in but she might have enough early speed to keep from getting caught 3 wide or worse on turn one........good sign Smith sticks with the youngster
3  Bilger's Sapphire  needs a rebound and training as if one will occur this afternoon with her 1st career race without blinkers
4  It Girl  likely needs best effort ever or a perfect trip today to get to the circle of joy
8  Just Got Lucky  1st on the sod today but bred well for it.....and training vastly better seemingly out of nowhere......tough post or would have rated higherÂ
