Not too hot of a card today handicapping wise. Sunday's is good.

I had electrical problems Friday and was shut down for an extended period of time so the comments are very abbreviated for Saturday. Sunday might be back to normal. Thank you for your understanding.

8  Carson City Five   improved worked......Baffert drops......needs to break better today

3  Bellamy Concerto   speed was great Friday.......Stevens will try to go gate to wire

4  Midnight Man   1st time gelding.......decent works......might return off of long layoff a different horse

7  Popsracer   impressive endurance put in in the a.m........jock upgrade......should move forward

 

race 2    average clarity

2  Show Stealer   good history with Stevens......can sit close in this pace-less race

4  Queenofthepalace      decent 1st run in USA......improved work......forward today

6  Hiking   extra 1/16 should help as should switch to the meets top gun

1  Tangelo   cut back helps.......likely will sit 1st or 2nd early in a no pace affair

6  Big Finish  useful better than looks debut.....big Slr works since.......should be on or near the front end

7  Mt Veeder   Baffert 1ster finished up with 3 straight gate works......that usually says meant and ready

8  Beaumarchais   1ster finished up a.m. with a flourish....draws Smith.....likely ready

2  American League   clunker in 2nd lifetime start.....needs his MSW effort

9  All Squared Away   very big effort in last but can he repeat it for Nettles instead of Miller

4  Broadway Nika   speed at one mile at Dmr is dangerous......lead should go here or to 4th pick

2  Dress Code   major league rider upgrade......nine year old loves the one mile distance

5  The Mad Hungarian   chances enhance if snatches the lead

8  Dr. Vincentstein    decent shot to wire if the track plays similar to Friday....1st time Bejarano

9  Public Policy    consistent sort should stalk the lead......tends to hang some but might not is the 8 horse is exhausted

12  Justonemorething   has fired to some degree when up for claiming......should benefit from layoff 2nd place run

4  Artic Warrior   better ES and final time in last two.......might stalk or even lead.......not impossibe at a price

3  Weewinnin   (4 2 1 1) in route turf races.......likes very firm turf......turf times Friday were very fast

6  Patriots Rule   best at one mile (3 for 6 at one mile & 0 for 7 at other turf distances).....also like very firm turf

8  Patentar   dangerous GB invader especially with Bejarano accepting

1  Toowindytohaulrox   good history breaking from 1 post and at one mile

1  Sharpest One   very positive rider change especially for a speed horse......come on Pedroza

3  Plane Lucky   solid debut........chances enhance if he can grab the lead again but I think our top pick has more ES

4  Patriotic Diamond   trains as if she's ready for her MSW debut.....and look who is up

7  Song for Jade    solid Slr work tab.....dangerous 1st time starter

5  Her Emmynency   toss out last yielding turf.......solid race at 2 on firm turf.....nice stalking style.....distance is a ? mark

4  Sharla Rae   distance fits and might not for many in here....last at Bel in G1 is better than appears in print

8  Sunset Glow   nice filly needs a little more punch late.....right guy to get it out of her in Stevens

1  Majestic Heat   very nice Cal-bred should like the extra 1/16th......should be flying late with an excellent off pace turf jock up

2  He Will Rule   brilliant early speed.....all three lifetime conv. dit races fit well

4  Whine for Wine   proven fresh........works say he is ready fresh once again......lix the six panels.....should be motoring late

8  Distinctive B   talk about a different horse in 2015.......doubt leads to day but might be capable of successfully stalking

7  London Legacy    a little short number wise but consistent and Bejarano knows well

 

race 10    average clarity

1  Tiz Josselyn   last is par like......seems most likely in the field to get a good trip

7  Yaffe   both turf races are better than appear.......trainer is good 2nd time at a route.......decent price shot if of course Valdez gives her a good trip

6  Illuminate   rider upgrade.........Bejarano might be able to open up a lead here......dangerous turf speed

8  Nashoba's Candy    1ster is beautifully for the sod......works and rider hint she is ready

10  Artisticdifference   not out of this if Talamo can give this filly a clever ride from a difficult post

3  Girl Downstairs   easy pace in lone turf race and tired.....will not more today
