9 Hero Ten All  awfully strong drills for O'Neill since he claimed this gelding and the trainer showed signs of awakening from the doldrums yesterday.......last grass race run 2 back is better than in appears in print
7 Airlite  Richard Mandella is firing on all cylinders right now and is dropping this four-year old who appears to need just that.......he has his physical issues but he might have a few decent efforts left in him........the kind you can consider wagering on but might not want to claim
11 Ky. Colonel  double barrel action from the Mandella barn and like our 2nd choice I believe he is dropping to be competitive....... as opposed to just dropping to get him claimed

Long-shot consideration:  8 Full Access  poor trip in his latest (and 1st in a route turf race) disguises an effort that can fit really well here providing his rider can be more clever from the 8 post this time around
race 2Â Â below average clarity
2 Besides the Point  best credentials in the race with 3 lifetime wins and two of her those wins came when she was dropping down.......and she is doing just that today.......2 for 2 when racing less than 6 furlongs
1 Coronado Cool  seems better suited to sprint racing than route racing and her last couple of routes aren't bad.......and I like that the last time Eric Kruljac went to bug boy Solis they won....... and won at a nice price
7 Stir Fry  speed type needs to put away a few others early to get they lead......but fresh speed can really fly sometimes and this Spawr runner is 15 months fresh today
8Â Flower Heart Deer
Long-shot consideration:  4 Seaquet  seems better in abbreviated sprint races and yet she graduated in her last which was at 6 furlongs.......like the rider change and the rider Steward Elliot woke up yesterday with 2 winners

4 Boss Move  strong forward move in her 2nd lifetime start to graduate in style......nice 4 work series since.....very reliable trainer this year in Michael McCarthy....strange that Baze doesn't ride back as he isn't riding anyone in the race.....but........Prat will do
8 We Will Re Joyce  appears to need the lead to win so it is a good thing that Mr. Maldonado sticks around.....when he is riding well (which he is) he is the the most reliable guy by my book at getting a given horse to the lead of the S Cal jockey colony
7 Twisted Rosie  has shown plenty of life in her two lifetime races after bad starts from the metal monster.....if she breaks the bad habit today......she is...... rated too low

7 Bedeviled  best on the lawn where he "shows up" almost every time and he is racing as a 1st time gelding today and in his 1st down the hill.....prolonged work series hints he is ready to roll for the Desormeaux brothers who teamed up for a nice win yesterday
8 Zuri Chop  Nakatani is on fire and especially so riding the grass......the "Chop" should get a nice stalking trip in a race lacking much speed.....obviously he is not our top choice but he does seem to be the most likely to hit the board in the field
2 New Karma  always wondered why this consistent main track gelding didn't try the grass as he handles both conventional dirt and the synthetic well....turf today and with a good hill rider aboard in Van Dyke

race 5Â Â average clarity
9 Spanish Bay decent route turf debut seems to have muscled up this well-bred R Mandella 2nd time starter.......works since his MSW debut are tightly spaced and impressive.......rather sure that he fires a strong effort
2 Shivermetimbers  Hollendorfer has put plenty of endurance into this 1ster and gets Mike Smith to ride....that endurance should come in handy as this is a 6 1/2 furlong MSW affair
7 Paddock Pick  broke slowly in debut and then showed he can run some.......worked sharply prior to his MSW debut and continues to do so after.....lookout if he breaks cleanly this afternoon

Long-shot consideration:  10 Point Guard  no action on the board for this two-year old in his MSW debut.......sharp a.m. work since with speed and endurance put in.......much more likely today from this Baltas baby
race 6Â Â average clarity
6 Count Alexander  two very solid lifetime grass races at WO with his latest being at today's distance in a Grade 2.....ran a solid 4th only beaten by 1 1/2L for the win.....hard not to like
8 My Boy Jack  on the right end of the learning curve and with few reasons not to believe the upward trend can't continue this afternoon
7 Mantracker  won at 1st asking on the 24th of August in Ireland on a yielding turf course and with plenty of weight on his back.....might be extremely fit for his 1st in the good old U S of A.....and D'Amato/Prat at the controls

Long-shot consideration:  2 Armour Plate  can really fly early and might be viewed as the speed "not to worry about".....if that occurs lookout with a quality grass rider like Bejarano at the helm

7 Goncharova  1st time in maiden claiming........1st time in a sprint.........1st time on the dirt.......improved good looking 4F speed drill put in a week ago.......should be ready to compete for the top prize facing easier today
2 Innyminniemineymoe  nice improvement in latest both in final time and pace.......should be in the hunt from the get go but without the meet leading bug boy aboard who landed on our top selection
6 Fly as a Falcon  lifetime best was her race 2 back and it was the only time she ran as far as today's 6F......1st time with Garcia as the rider and the last time he rode for Miller it led to a trip to the winners circle
11Â Willows Babe
Long-shot consideration:  9 Dream Proof  nice improvement in latest with the blinkers put on........if this two-year old filly builds off of the effort she will fit just fine vs. today's competition........owns some early foot so look for her to be in the mix from the go

3 Ucanthankmelater  very consistent and especially so when T C Baze is in the irons ( 5 2 1 1 1)......won his latest and getting given runners to repeat is one of Metz's better stats....as in 28% with his last 200
2 Beaumarchais  might be legged up racing off of two grass races.....seemingly needs the lead to win and can get it and with the light weight successful apprentice rider in the saddle
6 My Golden One  fired in all five his dirt races since the blinkers were put on ( 5 1 3 1) with the lone win coming the only time he raced on the SA main track......that race was also at 1 1/16th

10 One Fast Board  had to deal with the impossible task of the outer-most 14 post (and as two-year) in her latest and still nearly won a 100K Stakes....broke slow and ran very wide....never stopped running.......10 post might be a piece a cake LOL
4 Retro  bet to favorite in her MSW debut which was also at one mile on the sod and did not disappoint as she won......good post and Prat stays up.......should fit well with a logical forward move
11 Fatale Bere  fired in all three of her lifetime races in Ireland ( 3 2 0 1).....and that last race was vs. some nice male runners.......Desormeaux takes the mount and that is usually a sign of a live runner for Powell
