OK race card to finish the week of racing at Santa Anita.

NOTE that there is SHF carryover in race 1 today of $35K

2  Continental Divide   colt just popped his lifetime best in the 22 February version of this race.......continues to train like a happy healthy individual.........love the solid 5F drill just 3 days ago......feeling great.......seems very "meant" today

6  Lostintranzlation   filly vs. the boys today but heck why not as this filly broke her maiden in allowance race......so why not stay in the unorthodox mode and race her vs the boys......works are stellar hinting she is more than ready fresh off of the bench.......significant rider upgrade and with a sex weight break.......many things to like

4  Mobou   bad trip in latest hides a solid forward move and a lifetime top effort........Smith wisely stays put......trainer is hot......not out of the win picture by any means

race 2    average clarity

1  Don't Stalk Me   rather ambitious placements in last two races but pulls back to 25K which he handled well three races back........colt is very consistent on fast rated main tracks (11 6 2 2) and might be at his best at SA (7 4 1 0)........should be tough once again today

5  Tough But Nice   great spot for Palma and company following the claim back as he appears to be lone speed in this spot.......Palma wanted this guy back and wants to keep him so he doubles the claim price today

6  Conquest Cobra   1st out following the Sadler claim and he is willing to put him up for the same 25K tag be got him for.......and he legs up Rosario who has won 9 of his last 16 mounts for Sadler as of Friday.......hard not to like

4  Withholding Info  solid 1st at a route in latest her 2nd lifetime start and a work regiment since the early January race that has "moving forward" written all over it.......Baffert three year old should get a good stalk position setting her up nicely to be one tough cookie come stretch time

3  Sutro   filly has been very "live" when Smith rides her and he is back aboard today after being absent for a race.......dangerous "live" runner

6  Zusha   1st race on the dirt since her debut 8 races ago which she handled OK.......might show much more speed today as the best early foot she ever showed was in that lone dirt race.......that would enhance her chances as there isn't that much speed in the race

7  Guiliana   Powell is very dangerous with overseas invaders and this might be a good spot for this mare who can run all day long and catches not only a weak looking group of locals but with quite a few who don't want to run as far as 8F

6  Peter's Kitten   Sadler has done great work of late when he takes over the training duties of out-of-town horses.......this filly won like a good thing 1st out for John in a race run on the slop.......(5 0 3 0) on the grass and one of those 2nd's was at today's 9F distance.......should be a player as well as Sadler has been doing

4  Gratzie   filly drops and that should make her a player in this race that came up somewhat soft.......9F is a ? mark but she has won once at 1 1/16th

3  Sapphire Kid

1  Treasure Hunter  significant move forward in last in a route and the effort is more than deserving of today's nw 's allowance race if of course he can run similar in today's sprint race......smart move for Palma to put a fast bullet 4F drill into to help him prepare for today's sprint

5  Soul Streit   talented Baffert speed horse seemingly has to put away two other early speed types in this race one of which is also from the Baffert barn.......like his chances if he can accomplish the task

7  There and Back    Baffert colt won 1st out of the box way back in June running a brilliant 115:4 in his MSW debut.......he has been absent since but like most laid up Baffert alw horses he is training as if he is all set to continue where he left off

11  Jack's a Diva  decent looking claim by Salder who is having one heck of a nice SA meeting so far.......good early speed in a race that lacks it.........quite the rider upgrade to Rosario......faces a weak looking bunch both in the a.m. work and their p.m. work

3  Fright Night   decent debut and it is well disguised by a rotten trip......not crazy about the 0 for 51 in 2018/19 rider up or would have rated higher......check for a change in rider if games are being played......if there is one and he is decent then maybe this guy should have been made top choice

5  John's Intuition   debut fits but the next two races don't.......gelded prior to this race......might be the catalyst for a rebound......we shall see about 3:30 pacific time

6  Souter  gelding is by far at his best (most reliable) when he gets ample time between starts......he gets it today and he also gets Van Dyke who owns a win and 2 2nd's in 3 mounts on him.........lone race at 9F is solid and a little better than it appears in print.......hard not to like

8  Conquest Lemonraid  WO invader runs for the 1st time for Peter Miller and with a good-looking prolonged work regiment that hints that this isn't a tune-up.......9F seems like a good fit.........and reinforcing the idea that she is ready is seeing that Rosario wants the mount

7  Accountability   tossed a clunker in his last but 3 of his 4 previous efforts fit well here.....blinkers on to shake things up and just what you want to see as a vastly improved recent drill......rather sure he mounts a rebound

7  Dream True  tossed a clunker in latest which broke her 5 race win streak to start her career but given plenty of time to recover........works are "Baffert good" as in great......and money Mike Smith jumps aboard reinforcing the idea of a rebound........she should be in the mix from the get go capable of winning on or off of the pace

2  Spectator  back in the D'Amato barn after two dull efforts out east with a different trainer.........(5 3 1 1) for the D'A including a 5 1/4 length win in a Grade 2........away since August but she has shown she can run well "fresh"........very dangerous

9  Show It N Moe It   consistent sort seems best at SA and she appears to be in the top form of her life........she continues to work solidly and for a trainer in Sherlock who doesn't push them too hard in the mornings

1  Scrambled  decent return to the race wars off of a 13 month layoff.......1st at a route and back to the grass which he showed in can handle in a MSW 2 back......good route pedigree......trainer has been hot of late.......works are solid.......should get ignored at the windows some

6  Single Me Out  Cassidy is often at his most dangerous 3rd out after a layoff which is the case today for this four-year old gelding who improved quite a bit with the addition on blinkers in his latest

10  Aussie Fox  bad trip - bad trip - brutal trip........new jock gets a try on this gelding who has been hard to handle in 2019......that hasn't always been the case.......he can win this race despite the difficult post if he shows the same effort/energy and gets his mind back
