Best of luck as always!
race 1Â Â average clarity
1 Mucho Unusual fits the condition very well which allows this mare to face much softer this afternoon.........away since March but she runs OK fresh and draws the meets runway leader in Flavien Pratt
6 Fast Jet court  quite the record in Brazil and then in her 1st start in the USA she ran very well at 20 to 1 at today's 9F turf distance........she could have easily been 2nd in a Grade 2 if not for a tough trip......10 furlongs in her next start seems out of her range.....she should welcome cutting back to 9F.......dangerous sort
4Â Tapwater
5Â She's Our Charm
race 2Â Â average clarity
5 Indy Jones  moved forward some in his last race but more importantly he gets a significant rider upgrade.........and when Baze rode this gelding 5 races back he fired his lifetime best........that race if he is up to it should put him into the winners circle this afternoon
4 Smileforme  Wong who is winless at the SA meeting (thru last Sunday) drops this four year old to a level he should be a major player if he holds form........high % trainer wants a win or claim me please?.......he did drop this guy in May down to 12,500 and maybe needs to save face a bit with a win......so the conclusion is - drops to score
2Â Platinum Equity
race 3Â Â average clarity
4 Thrilling  jock upgrade and a recent subtle improved 4F work for this three year old filly........Michael McCarthy has given Rispoli quite a few live runners as in 6 in the money with their last 8 as a team......not much early gas in this field but this three year old has some........she should be in the mix from the opening bell and tough throughout
7 Maxim Strider  1st time Lasix for a Miller runner is usual a dangerous thing and this filly is on it today.........away since Oct of 2020 but training well enough to fire a good effort fresh off of the bench just like she did in winning her MSW debut which was also a turf sprint
1Â Fantail
5Â Vegas Palm
race 4Â Â average clarity
5 Principe Carlo  not eligible to be claimed and this five your old has a good history off of layoffs......so there is plenty of incentive for Barocio to have him fit ......and if he is ready to roll he is quite a bit better than his 5 foes in the race
3 Preaching Trainer the only dirt race for this five year old gelding is not bad and disguised in it's strength some.......and Gaines is able to get Prat to ride.......Carla could use a win as she is 0 for 12 at the Fall SA meeting
2Â First PrezÂ
race 5Â Â below average clarity
6 Elusive Treat  tepid top choice ran awfully well in his latest race considering it was run off of a 7 month hiatus and it was his 1st in the good old U S of A following 8 races in GB......and the strength of the effort is disguised by a tardy start and a somewhat wide trip.......he earned a par for the level Santucci fig and when looking at his running lines another furlong to cover should be to his benefit
2 Dominant Soul  vastly improved individual since the connections saw fit to take the blinkers off and go off of Lasix.......colt has had a steady diet of two turn turf races but his 4F & 6F pace figs suggest he will handle a turf sprint......we shall see if that is so about 2:30 pacific
5Â Tulsa Tornado
7Â Gregory's Pride
10Â Cherubic Factor
race 6Â Â above average clarity
7 Brilliant Cut  talk about a drop of multiple levels and in a protected race.......this girls only dirt sprint race (and it was at SA) since the 20 November O'Neill claim stands out a ton and one half here.....races turf to dirt for her 2nd out after a layoff........she should win this if she holds form
6 Little Miss Ellie  last chance to race at SA until about 8 or 9 weeks from now and considering she appears at her best on the SA dirt one would surmise Cerin will pull out all stops to get a strong race our of his four year old filly
3Â I'M the Boss of Me
4Â Keep Your Coil
race 7Â Â average clarity
7 Talkative Gal  last three sprints for this O'Neill two year old fit well here and none of them were run when Mr. O'Neill was red hot like he is now.......believe that Frey will stalk our top choice and attempt to overtake her in the stretch
2 Head Start  very good drills since arriving at SA from Indiana and with a new trainer in Mark Glatt.......mostly placed as our 2nd choice as it not easy to move up a horse trained by Brad Cox who won the 2020 Eclipse Award for best trainer
1Â Beachgrass
6Â Kobe in Motion
race 8Â Â average clarity
3 Burgoo Alley  poor start in latest and then rushed and yet still only lost the win by a little more than a length in a $75K Stakes race run down the hill.......Rispoli stays put for a 6th straight mount on this filly who should get a nice ground saving trip sitting 1st or 2nd down the back stretch in what should be a reasonable set of fractions.......got like that
8 Zero Tolerance  this three year old filly won the race where our top choice was third and the young lady had a trip that was a length worse than our top choice........made 2nd pick mostly because she is unproven around two turns.....pedigree for it is good......retains Prat to boot
7Â Shanish Loveaffair
6Â Madone
1Â Eddie's New Dragon
race 9Â Â average clarity
2 Tribal Dancing  what catches my eye here with this Saavedra 4th time starter is his 6F split in his last race which was at one mile on the grass........it is very fast and combine that with the turf route to dirt sprint maneuver and you have a dangerous price shot
1 Creative Peak  1st time racing with blinkers on might put Rispoli on the lead in this spot and speed was good yesterday......that and most everything Cerin has put on the track of late is quite "live"
3Â Moose Mitchell
6 Star Entry Â
5Â Grazen in the Park
race 10Â Â below average clarity
2 Blossoming  trainer is ever so dangerous with the MSW to MC50K move which is the case today for this two year old filly making her 2nd start......that and Gallagher almost always uses a given runners debut as nothing more than a tune-up......and the trainer has given Rispoli nothing but fit runners
3 Travel Smart  two year old filly from the Miller barn exits a very fast heat of MSW runners where being beaten by 10L still works out to be a par like effort at today's lower level.......that and he draws the attention of Prat and his agent
10Â Set the Tone
6Â Abhita
5Â Franch Franc
9Â Macrelletta
